I always end up forgetting something, too! It never fails. Even if I double check everything.

We're driving down to Disney and plan on leaving around 11pm or so the night before we check in. That day is going to DRAG by, that's for sure!

....well, make sure tht you are well-rested for that drive....the hours between 2AM and 6AM are killer....

Hey guys! I'm at AKL now (YAYYYYYY) and I think I got an upgrade. I booked a standard view room but was given a savannah view with bunk beds! I saw antelope and an ostrich from my window yesterday and I was so excited I think I almost passed out from joy lol. I will try to get a picture of the zebra domes this week for you guys too My thanks goes out to you guys for helping me pick such an amazing resort. Hope you're all doing well wherever you are!

Did you have a bunk bed room booked, or did you get switched to that?
My boys don't fit in bunks, so that would be awful for us - but, I'd probably make them squeeze in so we could have Savannah view!

Hi everyone! After years of staying at moderates, we finally decided to bite the bullet and stay at AKL, thanks to the Disney Visa promo. We're through-the-roof excited and can't wait to step off that ME bus and be able to call AKL home for the week. I'm looking forward to reading all the great tips and advice in this thread over the coming weeks.

DFi and I are staying at AKL for our honeymoon in April and I am totally psyched. This will be my 11th trip to WDW (his 2nd) but I have only ever eaten at AKL. I have always wanted to stay there but was married to someone who was so against trying anything with a cultural theme soooo...anyway, there is a reason we are divorced and I am marrying someone who is open to everything this time so I can't wait!
