If nothing else breaks in the house (replacing the hot water tank this week), I hope to surprise hubby and book the Polynesian for our 30th wedding anniversary celebration; if not, we will be happy going back to Old Key West for our third stay.

I've been reading your trip review along with MickyNicki's. Love you reviews!! Thanks for sharing. I'll be in DW from 8/14 to 8/21 with my DD and DGD, staying at POR. Would love to say "hello" to you. Happy birthday to you DH!!
It's been a lot of fun meeting other Disers in the past and it's great to know the people that you talk to. Also, DH and I might be going in May, staying at CSR to celebrate his retirement. Happy New Year!!

Haven't offically booked yet, b/c I am holding out hope that Disney will release a free dining promotion for out stay. But as of now the plan is to be there Aug 24th to Sept 2nd staying at POR for the 1st time!

We will be there for part of your stay. We arrive at the Poly on the 13th & I have decided to leave a day early so my dd can go to middle school orientation (I think I haven't booked airfare yet or cancelled a day of my room). And we leave on the 21st (or 22nd if she decides she can can with missing orientation).

I have cancelled my August reservation but....

I made a new one for the beginning of August using the MV deal they have. So instead of August 13, we are leaving August 3rd thru the 12th at the poly. It sort of freaked my Dh out with 2 reservations on the Disney website but I cancelled one this am.
