We are leaving in 10 days for our first trip-yay!! I have 2 little girls so our trip is going to be centered around fantasyland and charachter meet and greets. With the new attractions now open in fantasyland can someone help with a basic outline of what order to do things? I know that Dumbo, Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh should be done first, but where does storytime with Belle, Little Mermaid and the goofy coaster fit in?
We plan to be there at rope drop and go right to fantasyland and move as quick as we can until 11:00 for lunch at BOG, grabbing a FP for something (not sure what yet) before we eat, then slowing down a little more in the afternoon and doing more charachter meets.
Does that sound good? If anyone can give me any additional detailed info I would really appreciate it!
To note, we will have a second day at MK but are doing CRT at 9:55 so the morning will be kind of blown then.

thank you!!

Okay we were there 11/3 - 11/10. They did dress rehearsals. I would get a fp for peter pan, go do story time with Belle, which spoiler alert blew us away. The do little mermaid ride then mermaid meet and greet ride pan, hit pooh on the way to dumbo which u should go and go see donaldo and friends.

We just went and this is what we did....

FP Peter Pan as soon as we got to the park. We missed it last trip and wanted to see what the fuss was about. I will just say we will not be doing Peter Pan ever again :)

We then got a FP for Little Mermaid ride and headed to Ariels Grotto. The line for Ariel wasn't long and the wait was maybe 15 minutes. The ride was down when we went to go back to Little Mermaid so we went to Story time with Belle. It was over a 40 minute wait (which may have been longer though) however I would have waited longer after seeing what it was all about! LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED IT! Highly recommend it if you are a Belle fan (which we are). Best part of FL in my opinion and bet that there will be other things like this to follow with other Princesses.

We did Dumbo and BrainStormer almost when the fireworks started because it's shorter wait times. We rode BrainStormer back to back 4-5 times and usually it has over a 45wait time.

How did you get fast passes for Peter Pan and Little Mermaid so close in time? Or did you other stuff between getting the two fast passes?

LOL do you not like roller coasters? The Barnstormer is really mild in comparison to some other rides around the parks.

Subbing too. This will be our first trip where CMs pay attention to FP times. We have been so spoiled in the past. I'm not sure where to go first. With 6 and 2 yr old little girls we need a plan!!!!

If you insist on riding Peter Pans Flight, get a fastpass for that right away. While holding onto that fastpass, I would run around and meet characters, or wait in the line for Enchanted Tales with Belle. [Since this is now Soft Opened, the line can get really long really fast.]

Once you ride Peter Pans Flight, I would grab a fastpass for Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid. We were posting wait times of 85-90 minutes in the standby line yesterday. While holding the Under the Sea fast pass, head over to the circus to wait for Dumbo or Barnstormer. Or, meet some of the characters. From there, the opening between the circus and NFL should be open so you can pop right back over to Under the Sea. You'll run into Ariels Grotto first if you go this way, so you can always stop by to say hi. :D

Have a good trip!

The last few hours of the late EMH are a great time to ride Under The Sea. I think we only waited a max of 15min. It can get up to like 70min during the day. Yikes!
Here is video I took of Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid: http://youtu.be/UPzZFd117LY

Getting ready to go, too, and also with small kids (6,4, & 1.) So I was thinking we'd start with Enchanted Tales with Belle because it sounds like the lines are so bad, but that's not the recommendation? Arriving at rope drop, I thought we'd get FP for Ariel, get in line for Belle, then do Ariel after Belle.

Has touringplans updated their online plans with anything good?

Wondering this same thing too. Kind of frustrated that Tourguide Mike hasn't updated his touring plans yet. The new Fantasyland and adhering to FP times are the main reasons I joined again, but there aren't updates on either.
With all of our little kids a good plan has made the days so much easier!

I stopped subscribing to TSM when it took him YEARS to even add TSMM into his plans for DHS. But I thought he was supposed to be more on top of it these days.

FP enforcement started almost 10 months ago. If that's not included in his plans, I'd ask for a refund.

Story Time With Belle is a must do! Three of us in our party were selected to participate! My 8 yr old was one of them. She got stage fright before the story started and decided to sit with me instead. She was very sad that she didn't do it, and was sitting there pouting. The photographer asked her if she wanted a surprise at the end of the show. He was SO sweet to her! Even though she didn't participate in the show, they were going to make sure she got her picture taken with Belle at the end. She was still playing shy and didn't want to, but they gave her a book mark. I really appreciated all his efforts, we was so nice!

We were there the day after Christmas. We got right in for Aerial's Grotto and a short wait for Story Time With Belle as it was fireworks time! If you aren't into seeing the fireworks, that's the perfect time to go on rides. Also during parade times.

During the day we got FP for Pooh, and went on Dumbo while waiting.

Before the new Fantasyland, we would always ride Dumbo first because of the long waits (and no fp's). How much faster is Dumbo loading with the increased capacity?

We got FP's that same Saturday afternoon for Dumbo with a return time less than an hour later. The anticipated crowd level was a 9 that day. And my understanding is that those FPs are not tied into the regular FP system, so you can double up with those.

But now with 2 spinners, it just isn't the issue it used to be.

So are Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan the first "run to" attractions now? Get a FP or wait for Dumbo after that? Where does Goofy's come in now?

Who has a good plan? I haven't been there yet!

I know at DL it's PP, Dumbo, Alice, etc.
I know at WDW, it USED to be Dumbo, then PP, Winnie the Pooh, etc. Goofy's wasn't until TT opened.

Just wanted to add that if you have the option of a AM EMH at MK that is the perfect time to do Fantasy Land. If it's a busy time, you still want to plan out your time, but even during busy times, this hour is pretty great way to get a lot done here.

I am going in May with my sister and her 2 kids. I am very much looking forward to Fantasyland. It sounds like Storytime with Belle is a must. Has the Perter pan ride changed from years past? What is Be Our Guest about? Would love some comments from people who have been!
