Am I remembering correctly that they announced winners weekly (not daily) last year and that there was a delay announcing winners?

I did my first entry, only because every time I tried to do it before, I got an error, then when I refreshed it it said that I had to come back because of a high volume that they were experiencing . Good luck to everyone that is entering .

I'm interested in the "Wild Fun and Amazement" and "Big Thrills" packages for Disneyland, so I'm going to enter each day and pick one for my entry and the other for DH's.

I am a little disappointed there's no texting entry this year, since we'll be in WDW at the end of the month and it would make it a lot easier to enter while we're there!

You don't have to "pick" anything..yet. You can decide officially which type of trip you want if/when you win. "Choosing" now for your entry doesn't lock you in to anything.

Since the wife went to bed early, I was left watching Dick Clark last night and saw the original announcement. I went to the website and filled out the form but was told I had to wait til midnight to submit it. So that's how I celebrated the New Year - By clicking the submit button literally at the stroke of midnight.

That's gotta count for something, right? RIGHT?

Yes, I think they did not begin contacting winners until they were into the second week and then they would contact them twice a week.

Thanks! I thought there was something else delayed with announcing winners but that's probably what I was thinking with there being a daily winner but no winners getting announced until the second week.

My DH and I both submitted entries today and I'm paranoid that if we win and get notified by email that my DH will just delete an email that comes in not realizing what it is...hopefully winners will be notified by FedEx again this year! Haha - well, first I should hope that I'm a winner right!! You never know....

When I won the first email was from a guy with PRIZELOGIC not Disney. and I only had a week to return the signed affidavits. That is my worry as well - I know he doesn't check his email daily, nevermind the spam folder! I told him last year that if he found a winning email and the time had expired that he better not even tell me

Crazy to think that we have a chance of winning..........never won anything major.....but we have had quite a bit of bad karma lately and are due for something good.....hopefully there will be a lot of DIS winners.

As I read through the rules, I did not see any mention of winners being announced on the site like they did last year. So I don't think we should expect to see names.

The 19 of us who have remained in contact, I know we all were notified by different means. I received a phone call on my cell. Others received FedEx, and maybe email notification. Not certain on the last one.
