Just booked November 30 to December 7 (have to add one more night tomorrow). Will be staying at BLT. Celebrating my son's birthday and his wedding. Can't wait! They have never seen Disney during the holidays.

Hi everyone! We are booked at a mermaid room at AOA for Nov 23-30, 2013! It will be me, dh, and our 2 girls (ages 2 and 5 when we travel). We are Disney fanatics and were there this August for a kid free weekend, but cannot wait to take our girls! I am excited to plan with all of you

Welcome!!!! I'm not sure if anyone has started a FB group yet. I know I haven't, but I would definitely be interested.

We're Disney fanatics in our house, too. Our tree was just covered in Mickey ornaments. I wear Disney t-shirts most days (after work) and I wear Disney jewelry to work.

Our trip overlaps from October into November. We'll be at Wyndham Bonnet Creek from October 27, to November 3. We're celebrating DGD's 5th birthday (born 10/31/2008).

We are booked at POR and are looking forward to a moderate after our stay at AoA LM 11/27--12/4 of this year. We also are considering renting points but I don't even know where to start with that! What did you think about AoA LM? That is what we are currently booked for but I think we are going to chance to POR.

If you are on FB Sara join that group too. My biggest advice is to always enjoy what you are seeing and not worry about what you are missing. It is impossible to do it all in one trip, so enjoy every minute you get. Make sure you learn a little about how FP works. It can save you a ton of time in lines.

Thanks everyone for your kind words and congrats! We are planning a March celebration trip as we speak! I'm really hoping the free dining they've hinted at announcing tonight falls on our dates. That would be a big help for a quick, last minute trip!

Yeah, I decided to go to Christmas eve to my in-laws. I wasn't going to let them keep me away from my girl! It was ok. Same meat fest it always is! I was the only reason there were veggies there. I brought them! Really, I don't know how you just sit and eat meat all day.

Thank you so much for the encouragement!!! And, yes, I am totally up for everyone planning meets. We tried one for October 2011, but it was only my family and one other DISer. lol Not even someone who is one of my best friends now (I met her on the DIS....we've yet to meet in person) showed up! Although....she had a good excuse, her daughter was sick.

So....let the planning begin!!!

I was one of those people that was planning to meet and didn't get there. I found it difficult to be in the right place at the right time, especially with a 3 year old. I wanted to be at that meet, though, and DH got a call from work. I remember because I was almost out the door to the monorail to head back to MK! I met one other October 2011 DISer on that trip, and that was after about 20 texts back and forth while we were in AK. Wound up about 4 hours after we started that we finally caught up to each other. And AK is small!

No free dining announcement last night. Also Danny25 let it out that free dining was changing this year..... QSDP for mods and deluxes and nothing for values. He didn't give dates yet but made it sound like next offer would be for last summer.

Sorry to crush everyone's free dining dreams. And Danny25 is VERY reliable. He has informed us here on the Dis about upcoming promotions for a while and has always been right.
