Didn't know you were posting over here too. Your pictures are gorgeous Tammy! You see the details like no other. :)

I have to start a new TR for Nov/Dec and just don't want to keep up with three at once. I'll finish the cruise on here then start the WDW TR on the other board. Yes, when it comes to the little details I'm all over it.:goodvibes You just wait 'til you see the bathrooms on the Disney ships. You will flip!

Okay, Enchanted Garden - check. Next up...

The lobby outside of EG. The ceiling feels way too short here for me. I feel like I can touch the darn thing. Eek.

The only difference I could see between the two ships in this area ~ the color scheme. I like this color scheme better than the one on the Dream, simply because it's all of my favorite colors put together. Blue, green, and yellow. I love bright tropical colors! This bench is absolutely beautiful.

Love!

Even better this way!

Inside cabins have these awesome real time porthole windows. Makes ya feel like you're in a room with an ocean view. Maybe when they refurbish the Wonder and the Magic they will add something similar. That would be cool!

My favorite non concierge room was the cabin with two porthole windows. That thing felt huge! It was like two rooms in one. You had your bedroom on one side with a divider wall, and on the other side you had a living area. Each room had it's own porthole window with seat. Very nice indeed! Jenny was lucky enough to score this room on her last trip, and she loved it! :thumbsup2

I do have a couple of shots from the one bedroom concierge suite. I thought I uploaded those from my phone, but I guess not. I will get that done tonight and add them for you all to see.

I have been editing my photopass all day trying to get it ordered before my pictures expire. I am beat and frozen. :( It's time to go thaw out and watch some TV. I will get that suite put up tomorrow sometime. Don't forget to add your own pictures! I love seeing them. Until next time...

Looking for those pics....just changed my office around and I put the memory cards somewhere and can't locate them now. :surfweb:

Enchanted Garden looks lovely. Hope the food was just as nice? I think I am underestimating how big this ship is going to be, having never cruised before lol.

happy New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your family!!

I'm here! GREAT pictues as usual!!

No plans to sail Disney anytime soon, but I do love reading your reports!! Such detail and BEAUTIFUL pictures!

We are thinking of a cruise this year to Hawaii with DMIL. She has nobody to go with and wants to go before she isn't able. (she is 84...don't tell her I told you her age!) lol

Happy New Year everyone! 2013...it's going to be a lucky one. Maybe I can even sail on the Fantasy, in this room. Ha, never gonna happen. One can dream though.

Doesn't that sound pretty? Really though Concierge means ~ a usually multilingual hotel staff member who handles luggage and mail, makes reservations, and arranges tours. This should totally have a different name. Not sure what but concierge doesn't really fit. I mean yes, they have one available to you, but so does everyone else aboard the ship. This should be called "super fancy rooms with nicer walls and plentiful snacks" area. :lmao:

We stayed at the Contemporary on the 14th floor a couple of years ago, concierge, theme park view. It was so nice up there I did not want to leave, not even to go to the pool or to the parks. I just wanted to stay in my room, enjoy the view, and visit the lounge each time they changed it up. The price really wasn't that bad. I can't remember the exact amount but with taxes it came to $400 a night. (I used a FL or AP discount, not sure which) The room rate was in the $200 something range. Taxes ate up a lot of that $400. If you get the chance to do this go for it. If we only went to WDW once every five years I'd definitely do it this way. It's incredible. When you go six weeks a year though...no, it's not feasible, for our family anyway. They served some yummy food, you could probably get away with eating that as a meal on some days. It was endless. All the beer and wine you wanted (too bad they didn't have Jack Daniel's and Malibu). :scratchin I could have drank up that $400 in a few hours. <---Wow, got sidetracked. Anyway, those of you who have done this on the ships I'm just curious to know if it's similar to the resorts. I would love to see pictures of what is served in the lounge. Details of you have 'em! Now back to the room...

This is the one bedroom suite on the Disney Fantasy. The color scheme is one of my favorites. Blues with browns, very pretty. Oh, those beds on these ships...WOW! They sleep so well. Even when you are rocking back and forth about to fall off the bed...you feel fantastic rolled up in that bedding!

The sinks remind me a little of our bathroom set up. Of course we're missing the TV in the mirror. (Thank God, Sidney would never leave the bathroom. I've considered an iPad/iPhone docking station for the wall by the toilet.)

That's it! The one bedroom concierge room. I could bring in the New Year in there with a smile on my face, how about you?

happy New Year!

It is beautiful, and yes our dinner in there was very good. For some reason desserts and appetizers are really standing out from that restaurant. They were so yummy.

The new ships are very big! You may be in for a shocker, a very good O M G !

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your family!!

Thank you. I'm going to start one soon on the this past trip. You get to be part of that one, sort of. You know we didn't take a picture. Duh! How'd we not do that? Anyway, you need to come find me over on FB now that I actually know you guys. You have FB don't ya?

Tell DMIL I will cruise to Hawaii with her! I almost went last year. The kids weren't able to get out of testing though, boy did we try? I was close to moving out of this state temporarily to get us to Hawaii. I'm still mad about it. :headache:

Nice! Fancy shmancy room. You're right the living room does nothing, but the rest of the room really has that wow factor.

I love all the updates!!! 80 days till my Dream cruise!! We can book our Nassau excursion on the 8th and I think we've decided on the Beach Day at Atlantis..any thoughts on that??? I'd really like to see Atlantis and if for some reason we wouldn't be able to dock at CC...eek!!...I'd still like to see a beach so I thought that was a safe bet! Our other choice was beach day at Blue Lagoon but it's further and Atlantis gives you more return time options so hopefully we are able to get that! Can't wait to read more!

That's not long at all! The last time we went over to Atlantis was in 2000 or 2001. It has been a while. The last time we were docked in Nassau I walked the kids into town for a few minutes so they could see it and they were begging to go back on the ship within 10 minutes. I snapped a couple of pictures, went back on the Dream, and spent the entire day exploring the ship.

I would cry my eyes out if Castaway Cay was canceled.

Have you ever been to Vero Beach? It's not far from Disney. We drove over there on the way back home one trip and it was gorgeous. The ocean was crystal clear bluish green, and the beach was so white and empty. That was in June, not sure why it was so empty but wow. I live in Myrtle Beach and our beaches do not look like that. You should check it out one day if you haven't already. It's worth the drive.

I have been to Vero Beach!! I went last summer for the first time and stayed 4 nights in an Ocean View Inn room at the Disney resort. We really liked the beach and security of the resort (room key to get into anything!!) but we didn't really enjoy how the town was pretty quiet. We enjoy going to Hilton Head and feel like there is more to do there but then again we didn't drive to the town of Vero Beach where they might have had more to do. We had no problem finding local places to eat dinner and thank Dis for the advice of where to eat!!

I love seafood and love crab legs. Did the crab legs replace the stone crab claws? Was it served chilled? Thanks, looking forward to going on the Fantasy myself:)

Hello!

Just followed you over here from your March/June/Sept thread. :wave2: My daughter has been trying to talk us into a Disney cruise for years, but I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it as much as the parks. After seeing your pictures, I KNOW I'd love it!

I love your family photos!!! Since my daughter's close in age to your kids, I can imagine her doing a lot of the same fun things.

I'm headed back to the beginning to drool over some more of those Disney food pics now....!

On my Dream cruise in December, I did not see stone crab claws, just the snow crab legs. The legs were served chilled. I do prefer hot crab legs but I still enjoyed the chilled legs.

Thanks Tammy for the great pictures of the Concierge cabin. The TV in the bathroom mirror is so cool.

I want to stay there. I walked onto the beach and could see the resort to our right, but we didn't walk over there. I hope to add it to one of our stays eventually. Hilton Head is about 3.5-4 hours south of us. I haven't been there in so many years. Did you stay at the Disney resort there? Just curious if you like it. *Favorite thing on Dis - Food pics. LOL

I've only been on the one Disney cruise in Sept. I only saw snow crab on our buffet, and they were chilled. I wonder now if they would have steamed them for me had I asked. Does anyone know? I can put a hurtin' on a hot crab leg.

Hello!

Just followed you over here from your March/June/Sept thread. :wave2: My daughter has been trying to talk us into a Disney cruise for years, but I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it as much as the parks. After seeing your pictures, I KNOW I'd love it! You have to try it! For years and years I turned my nose up at the idea (mainly because it was a lot of money compared to other lines). When they put up those FL rates though I had to see for myself, and WOW! We are sold. The Disney ships are immaculate. Now I would never tell a gambler who hated Disney to hop aboard a Disney ship because more than likely they would jump overboard, but a Disney fan...OMG! We did the 4 day because it was on sale, plus I wanted to make sure the kids liked it like my husband and I do. (After all some people hate cruising!) Now we are all itching for a 7 night cruise! The kids like the ships more than the parks!

I love your family photos!!! Since my daughter's close in age to your kids, I can imagine her doing a lot of the same fun things. Yes, and the teen club she would LOVE!

I'm headed back to the beginning to drool over some more of those Disney food pics now....!

Have fun and thank you for coming over here. That other one has to go bye, bye so I can start a new one.

I will be asking for steamed claws next time. If they will run and get us specialty desserts from another restaurant I think they will heat up the crab legs! :thumbsup2 I have to get over to your TR's and start reading. I want to see all of the pictures.

How is everyone enjoying 2013 so far? Do you have your Disney plan all set up for the new year? We're still working on ours. We do have one big trip booked, but not sure what other dates we plan to go. Shoot, even a getaway in a couple of weeks is on the drawing board. That is IF hubby can get time away from his work.

Well, tonight I think I'm going to get into the clubs. The ones on the Disney Dream were nice, however, the ones I saw on the Fantasy were even better! I'm the disco ball, bright color loving girl so this may be my personal taste screaming O M G, but I was floored when I saw the clubs. First thing I noticed? The ceiling! Go figure.

DSC_0002.jpg

I was so in awe of the ceiling and how I could incorporate this idea into my own home, that I left reality for a few minutes.

DSC_0003.jpg

I'd probably change the wall color though. Not big on the golden look

DSC_0004.jpg

Cool stars!

DSC_0005.jpg

Careful blondie, you are gonna fall down the stinking stairs! Look at that mural...LOVE IT!

DSC_0008.jpg

Looking that way...

DSC_0006.jpg

Looking this way...the blue carpet does go well with the gold. Total royalty colors!

DSC_0007.jpg

First up I will share my pictures of O'Gills Pub.

DSC_0010.jpg

I always look at things from a designers point of view. I just can't help it. Why some bar patrons may be thinking about the best mixed drinks offered here, I'm standing there thinking, look at that ceiling. The trim work is amazing. The detail of the lights, and look at the lines in this furniture. Wow! This place is superb.

DSC_0011.jpg

I look at the small space and flip out over how well things are set up. I start thinking wow...if I built in our sofa along the back wall of the house...

DSC_0012.jpg

Then I see this window. Yeah it's just a porthole window but look! They added a little decoration to it and it looks like a pirate ship over there. Isn't it great?

DSC_0013.jpg

Of course they were decorated for Christmas like every other inch of the ship.

DSC_0014.jpg

Comfy stools, or so they look to be.

DSC_0015.jpg

Yummy liquor selection...yes, I will have one of each please!

DSC_0016.jpg

Details so I can do this at home one day...

DSC_0017.jpg

Then I see this! How great is this area?

DSC_0018.jpg

DSC_0019.jpg

I'm not a big sports fanatic, but I can see a group of people enjoying a good game in here.

DSC_0020.jpg

Wishing I could stay a little longer it's time to exit. Goodbye pretty green leprechaun bar. One last look wishing I had a Midori sour in hand.

DSC_0021.jpg

I'm going to definitely pay for my mom and dad to join us on the next cruise so we can visit these places and enjoy them. I'm still a little iffy about leaving my 7 year old alone in the kid clubs. I can't help myself. (Overprotective mother thing...) Plus I want them to experience a Disney cruise. All they've sailed on so far was Carnival. Great ship, but definitely not the same experience.

DSC_0023.jpg

Well, I have a ton of work to do and I have a movie I've been itching to see on my DVR. This is it for tonight. Sweet dreams everyone.
