How much is your 2013 WDW vacation going to cost you?

Southwest ran a 40% off special for one week back in October. We live in New Hampshire but it was about $400 cheaper to fly out of Boston.

Booked with a Pin Code:

When: 8/28 - 9/4
Tickets: 7 day park hopper
Where: CBR - preferred room
Who: 2 adults 1 child (12)
Dining Plan: Right now none (but will change pin code for free dining if and when it comes out in March (if not will add regular dining plan)
Insurance: Yes
Cost: $2,311-Now
Airfare: Hoping for under $750- (can't book yet)

I can't wait already planning ADR's, lol

This thread makes me glad I bought into DVC!
Feb 12-21
5 nights Bay Lake Tower, 4 nights Animal Kingdom Lodge-3 Disney adults
Flights-$775
8 day park hopper with plusses ( Disney yes tickets)-$883
Dues on points used for resort reservations.( I am not factoring in the initial buy in cost because that money would have been spent on regular room costs years ago) -$868
Dining (OOP)-$1000

Total for 3 adults, 9 days= $3526. This further breaks down to $130 per person per day.
Not too bad considering we are all adults:) Oh how I miss the cheaper costs of having Disney "kids"!

My package
aoa lion king suite (6 nights)
6 days base tickets
deluxe dining package

4100$

How far do you live near Buffalo? Cheaper flights there with SW!

Nowhere near. I'm right in the middle of Canada. I will take a look though and see if my airport even flies to Buffalo. lol and thanks for the info!

Here is our trip for 6 adults. (2 adults 4 teens)

2 rooms for one night at ASMo
With 8 Day tickets/Reg DDP 2491.30
DDP while staying 8 nights
at AKV on DVC points 2733.12
Rent extra DVC points 330.00

Total 5554.42

That is not including vehicle rental of 700.00 and gas money. (not to mention my monthly DVC payments)

I think our costs go up every vacation even with DVC.

Post your travel info here so we can compare

Not really fair because I live in Miami, Fl but:

Airplane tickets including parking : $150
(At this price it is cheaper for me to fly than to drive with gas and tolls)

Four nights at All Star Sports with Regular Dine: $585

Park Tickets: Annual Pass holder and I got my moneys worth out of those babies a couple of trips ago.

So less than $800. :thumbsup2

Oh my gosh, haevn't posted on the DIS in a while, but thought I would chime in.

It will be 2 years for us between trips (because of my 5 month old son! hehe), so we are going October 16-25.

9 Nights - BCV Studio (Renting Points) - $1,674
9 Day PH - (2 Adults 1 Kid, 1 Freebie) - $1,127
Food - (OOP - Max 3 TS Meals) - $1,244 (Also accounts for hitting F&W Booths!)
Souvenirs - $650 (Probably aggressive, but assuming the worst)
Airfare - $1,200 (PVD to MCO - 3 tickets 1 lap baby)

For a grand total of....

$5900

Waiting for this big discount to come out on January 3rd so that I can save 25% off my room at Coronado Springs Resort.

Estimating that this trip will cost $2,000 or less including food. We drive to WDW. We also pack our lunches for the day. We only do 3-4 ADR's for the whole week. We are on somewhat of a budget. I also limit the souveniers to $50/kid and $100/myself and hubby.
