Scott & Vinny: 13 days of Magic..UPDATED *NEW* 3/4 (The End)

I think your pictures from the PeopleMover turned out really good! I have to agree with Vinny - I smile from ear to ear everytime I ride it. Such a great ride. It's just "so" Disney.

I love the CMC! I've eaten there three times and got seated at the same table twice. What are the odds? But then again, I also got the same room at Pop twice. :rotfl:

Fun updates!
Thank you.
It really is. It makes me smile too.
:rotfl2: they just know your preference at WDW.

Merry Christmas - hope your holiday is delightful!! pixiedust:
Thank you. It was. Hope yours too.

Bella was sitting with me when I was looking at these pictures yesterday. She got a big smile on her face when she saw this. I asked her where that was, and she answered, "Pop Shrentry. That's where I build the blocks up high and knock them over!" Then she laughed. One of the simple pleasures at Pop. :thumbsup2

I have this shirt. :)
:rotfl2: that is a great memory to have.
that is a very nice shirt.

Merry Christmas Scott and thank you so much for the pictures and review. Will definitely have to eat here next time we visit!!!
Same to you and thanks for reading.
if you don;t like it blame Vinny. :lmao:

Great updates and pics...as usual! I love the pic of Vinny on the TTA. He looks really happy there. :thumbsup2 We do the same rotation a lot....TTA, then Buzz, TTA, Buzz. :lmao:

I had wanted to try Cape May but with DS's food allergies we try to stay away from buffet's due to cross contamination. I can't wait to stay at the Beach Club one day. We put our name on the wait list for a separate reservation on the first 2 days of our trip 2 years ago. We had booked at the Boardwalk but put our name on the list for BCV. We did NOT get it. That's the summer season for ya. One day, though.....one day. :beach:

You and Vinny have a very Merry Christmas!!! :goodvibes
Thanks.
it is like a cycle with us. :confused3
Yeah I hear you. We tried for October. :rotfl2: During F&W.
Same here. One day we will stay there.

SCOTT!

Merry Christmas!!!!!!

Miss you!

I'll be lurking til the 31st...:thumbsup2
OMG!!! Look who is here. How are you?
Merry Christmas to you.
Miss you too.
Glad to see you.

Merry Christmas Scott and Vinny! Loved you card! :-)

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards
Thank you and so glad. I wasn't sure of the address but took a chance. My handwriting.

Scott, I hope you and Vinny have a wonderful Christmas!
Thank you we did. A little sick with vertigo but fine now. Hope you had a good holiday also.

Merry Christmas!!!

I have a whole lot of catching up to do.
Thanks.
Same here on all others.

A new day has come and a day we were both looking forward to, the arrival of Vinny’s granddaughter, Aubrey. She is reading along here and might even post. EEK! We haven’t seen her since 2011 for Thanksgiving. We were both excited to see her. But there is plenty of time before her and her friend Ryan show up.

We had places to go first. We walked to the front. Let me say I guess we had breakfast in the room being I have no pics of food or receipts.

Then I stitched the pics together. I think it came out okay.
disneyoct20121421.jpg

No Magic Kingdom today. Today’s destination is..
disneyoct20121422.jpg

We had to wait for a bus and so I took pics.
disneyoct20121423.jpg

Oh okay here it comes.
disneyoct20121424.jpg

Then we arrived at our place for fun.
disneyoct20121425.jpg

Of course got a pic of the golf ball. LOL
disneyoct20121426.jpg

When we went inside we went to the camera center.
disneyoct20121427.jpg

The day before my camera strap broke and so I needed a new one and I wanted one that clipped on but could not find any so I ended up getting the WDW one. I have to say I am not to fond of it. Feels very cheap and light. The only thing was it didn’t have 2 straps. I was so confused until I realized that it was a point and shoot strap. I think Vinny told me. LOL. Anyway it was not good.

Oh one of my favorite places to be.
disneyoct20121428.jpg

Then we proceeded to walk.
disneyoct20121429.jpg

I needed to go to the Festival Center

disneyoct20121431.jpg

disneyoct20121432.jpg

Then we entered the building.
disneyoct20121433.jpg

And here is my destination.
disneyoct20121435.jpg

I had come here specifically to get the wristband for the concert that evening.

We went inside and I got my pass. This place was small. I had some soda and Vinny had a coffee. I text Jenn (Nativenyer) to tell her I got the pass but she would have to get her own as it admits only one.

Con't...

We left here and outside the door we saw these chocolate creations.

I was amazed at them all. The photos do not really show you how amazing they really were.

After that we walked around a little.
disneyoct20121450.jpg

disneyoct20121451.jpg

I tried on a pair of beer glasses.
disneyoct20121453.jpg

Then we left.
disneyoct20121455.jpg

I think I am going to stop here.

Up next,

More Epcot.

We stopped in the Chase lounge too. It sure was small!!! We actually had to wait in line until people came out before they would let anymore in!! Once in, it was crowded but nice to get a drink, find a seat & relax a little. I think one of the ladies recharged her phone at the center that was set up.

Those chocolate sculptures were awesome!! It's amazing that people have such talent!!

Love the beer goggles. I tried those on too! :rotfl2:

Ah - the good Old Chase Center. I drank quite a bit of lemonade there. :rotfl2: Or maybe it just seemed that because the cups were so small. :rotfl2:

I thought those chocolate creations were just amazing!

Interesting .... I've been to several culinary demos in the festival center but have never heard of a Chase lounge. What kind of wrist band did you get? Now I feel like I missed something

By the way, Hi Jordan! It's good to see you on the boards!

Thanks!:)

Those chocolate sculptures were beautiful. We stopped in the Chase lounge to get wristbands for AirSupply.

The only time we've been in that building was about 5 years ago during the Flower & Garden festival. Is the Chase lounge in there only open when they have festivals, or can you go over there any time? :confused3

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...I feel so out of touch, but I seem to recall that the only permanent one is at the exit of Spaceship Earth somewhere. Is that right?

Were the wristbands free, or do you pay extra for them? Do they have them for other performers?

Going to the Chase stop was on my list for October. One more thing that I didn't get around to. We had seven kids aged 6 down to infant, so plans got tossed to the wind quite a few times.

I'm glad I got to see the chocolate sculptures through your pictures.

Just seeing the pictures out by the Pop bus stop warmed me up a little as I sit under my blanket on this cold December day!

We got there right after opening so not too busy but I can imagine how it would be later in the day.
it was nice to relax in there.
They certainly do have talent. I could not imagine doing something like them.

OMG, those chocolate sculptures are AWESOME!!!! So much detail! :thumbsup2
:thumbsup2 they were.

:rotfl2: great minds...
That is what I had to drink in there. :lmao: They were small but it was still good.
They were.

Just looking at that chocolate makes my skin break out.

I think it was new this year. Very small in the back area.
For the concert that evening.

Only during the festivals. We were in there also for the flower festival.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...I feel so out of touch, but I seem to recall that the only permanent one is at the exit of Spaceship Earth somewhere. Is that right?
There is a lounge there but it is not open to all. I think that one is Siemens Lounge.

Were the wristbands free, or do you pay extra for them? Do they have them for other performers?
They were free. You had to wear them all day long. It was for the seating for chase card members. Basically guaranteed a seat.

You didn't really miss much.
Those were really nice to see.
:rotfl: Not today there. 61 right now and feels like 58. Brrrr but still warmer than here.

when we were there they also had bands you could get for the reserved seating for illuminations that night as well as the concert wrist bands...

After getting the wristband we walked over to Mission to mars.
disneyoct20121457.jpg

Vinny went on this alone. He said he was going to do the orange side but said the green was only 5 minutes so he did that.

After his trip to Mars we walked. We passed my favorite thing.
disneyoct20121459.jpg

I have no idea why I took this pic.
disneyoct20121460.jpg

Yes we did.
disneyoct20121462.jpg

But what will we decide to do?

Could this be it?
disneyoct20121463.jpg

You would be wrong. We ate. LOL
disneyoct20121464.jpg

Our menu consisted of—

Scott:
Turkey Focaccio.
Brownie
Soda

Vinny:
Tuna Salad
Key Lime Pie
Soda

No clue of the amount as it was DDP.

Review: It was okay. Nothing great, but certainly not the worst.
The crowds were low here but it was early.
disneyoct20121465.jpg

After our meal we went on Vinny’s favorite.

I think I will stop here being I definitely am on a pic overload.

Up next,

Let’s go soar….

Yeah you could get them also but we did not. I kind of wish we had.
