I never found out what kind of view that room really was, but I really think it was WV. At one point in time, I had WV booked and the room assigner possibly could have seen that.

Narcoossee's was awesome, and I can't wait to take my husband there someday.

Thanks, Dee!

:thumbsup2 to a very productive night in MK!

Love your pics of the Partners Statue!

Oh, thanks, Amanda!

We got up early that morning and drove to the park that quickly has become my favorite in Disney World. . .Epcot.

Of course, we first wanted to ride Soarin', so we ventured through the stampede.

Love the detail

We all look like cattle herding through here.

We left here to do the Sum of all Thrills. We did it a couple of times before heading towards Mission:SPACE. Over at Test Track, we saw this. While fun, it really was a let down at the same time.

Spinning a problem? Not for me!

DSC_7381.jpg

Oh, my very favorite!

DSC_7384.jpg

I don't understand why I go over here. You wanna know a secret? I losthe this ride. But I still do it every time.

DSC_7385.jpg

Mine! Mine! Mine!

DSC_7391.jpg

Going over to use our fastpasses at Soarin, it looks like crowds have picked up a little.

We had an early lunch at Le Cellier, so it was good we got a bit done that morning. Coming up. . .I'm too full!

After riding Soarin', we needed to high-tail it over for our dining reservations at Le Cellier. No food pictures there because it's so dark in that restaurant, but, I just have one thing to say: I was too full after that lunch.

Pretty gardens

We then headed back to the resort.

Caught up! I love your pictures from CSR! You got a really great view!! It is nice to enjoy shows once in a while instead of always trying to get pictures.

Last view of the monorail

I love this picture!!! It made me thing about being on the monorail, circling Future World and getting excited to be in EPCOT!

You had a wonderful day there! Beautiful weather, yummy food & drink and even a DIS meet. :woohoo:

Your pictures of the resort are so pretty!

They are pretty pictures of the resort, but my heart was at the Beach Club the whole time, which becomes very evident later in the trip.

Thanks, Dee!

I can do just about any kind of ride out there....except for Mission Space. :crazy2: Went on it once and never again.

I love those gardens by Le Cellier. They are so pretty!

And I don't blame you one bit for not taking any fireworks pictures. Sometimes it's nice to put the camera down and just enjoy the moment. I did that a lot more on our most recent trip.

Lots of people can't do Mission Space. I can understand why. It is very disorienting.

I was glad I did not take pictures that night. It was nice to just enjoy the fireworks for once.

After a restful night, Sweetie and I got up the next morning so that we could make our way to Animal Kingdom Lodge for a 7:30am breakfast reservation. In December of 2009, I had breakfast at Boma and loved it. This time, it did not wow me as much. But it was not terrible either. Then, we made our way over to Animal Kingdom, where we rode Everest several times before trying to get soaked on Kali River Rapids.

IMG_1246.jpg

Such a fun sign!

IMG_1250.jpg

Beautiful windows in the lobby. Again, I would love this resort if it were not so far from everything else!

IMG_1270.jpg

Now that is definitely not very surprising

IMG_1273.jpg

IMG_1275.jpg

Yeah, like I want my feet in dirty water where other's feet have been. . .

IMG_1277.jpg

Sweetie loving getting others wet.

We left that morning to head over to Blizzard Beach for a little while. We love that park. It seems very family friendly, and was extremely close to our resort for this trip.

WHAT?!?!? I call foul! Tea is $1.00 at home!

IMG_1289.jpg

Yeah, I'm still not convinced I'll ride that. . .

IMG_1293.jpg

Love the theming here.

Happy ladies

Coming up. . .the best meal ever!

After going back to the room for rest, Sweetie and I got ready for our dinner reservations that night at California Grill. For those of you who have been there, you know it is a great experience. Several times over the years, I have reserved a meal there and then canceled it. I didn't this time.

We rode the bus over to MK and then walked to CG.

DSC_7463.jpg

I was struck again with how close MK and the Contemporary are

DSC_7465.jpg

DSC_7472.jpg

They look they want to talk to each other.

DSC_7477.jpg

I love the look of BLT

DSC_7481.jpg

We did some shopping and got a cupcake because we were hungry. We had not really eaten since Boma that morning.

That's a pretty view

DSC_7494.jpg

As is that

DSC_7516.jpg

Again, our view

DSC_7530.jpg

Holy receipts, Batman!

I am so glad we did not cancel this one. We enjoyed our meal there. We were not rushed, and when we left, we went back to the room to rest before evening EMH at Magic Kingdom

After dinner, Sweetie and I went back to the room to get some much-needed sleep. By the time we got up and headed out, it was this dark:

IMG_1295.jpg

We headed over to the Magic Kingdom for evening Extra Magic Hours and we were all ready to go since we had slept so well.

IMG_1298.jpg

Am I the only one happy to see this promotion go away?

IMG_1300.jpg

First stop. . .Pirates of the Caribbean

IMG_1301.jpg

IMG_1303.jpg

"We wants the redhead!"

IMG_1312.jpg

"The fastest ride in the Wilderness!"

IMG_1313.jpg

I guess dancing is simply not allowed anymore at Disney.

IMG_1315.jpg

Which is not good, because this song, although annoying, makes me want to dance.

IMG_1319.jpg

IMG_1324.jpg

IMG_1325.jpg

IMG_1338.jpg

IMG_1342.jpg

IMG_1352.jpg

With all the spinning in the teacups, who could dance?

IMG_1354.jpg

And I'm not drinking tea when a big mouse is in the pot!

IMG_1358.jpg

We rode this one several times

IMG_1360.jpg

Ha ha!

IMG_1363.jpg

I've dropped a phone from the top of Dumbo. I would not reccommend dancing in here, either.

IMG_1365.jpg

Seems Dumbo goes fast enough!

IMG_1370.jpg

On our Dumbo

IMG_1376.jpg

Yeah, we rode it!

IMG_1378.jpg

And Sweetie looks all nonchalant in the middle

IMG_1380.jpg

Sigh. How beautiful!

IMG_1388.jpg

Time to leave.

IMG_1399.jpg

This was an awesome day, beginning with morning at Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach. Dinner at California Grill. Evening EMH at Magic Kingdom.

Coming up. . .Boy am I tired!

Looks like y'all had a really great day! We haven't done any of the water parks yet but I see them in the future. From what I've seen the theming at Blizzard Beach is really cute!

I really wanted to try California Grill on our last trip but could never get an ADR. One day.....

The theming at both are really great. I like Blizzard beach because it is different, but I like Typhoon Lagoon because I love to be floating along listening to Jimmy Buffet!

California Grill is a great experience for anyone.

Thanks for stopping by!

Wow you've posted quite a few pictures since I last looked! You got a lot of great shots! CG looks beautiful, I really want to eat there some time - maybe next time! I love all of your "no dancing" photos and captions :rotfl:

Aw, thanks. I was busy over Christmas, and I want to have this TR finished before I leave in February. Which means I only have 52 days!

What an awesome day!!! I have been to Boma once for breakfast and it was really good. But not as good as dinner there- Boma just may be my favorite restaurant at Disney.

AKL is beautiful, but I agree that it is not close enough to everything. I like the idea of being able to walk to at least one of the theme parks from my resort, which is the main reason I love the Beach Club so much.

My family usually plans a trip over to Blizzard Beach after a short day at AK. It is just so easy to get there! Typhoon Lagoon is my favorite, too, but the family ride at BB is so much better!

The food and view at CG looked fantastic! Haven't been there yet, but everytime I read a review or see pictures I am tempted!

WOW! You really made the most of the EMH at MK! :worship:

The picture of the Dumbo ride is very cool. I remember your story about the dropped phone. :scared1:
