I really don't think there are any certain rules here. You can do individual gifts or do family gifts or both - whichever you prefer. I really think it is whatever you can and feel comfortable doing. Some people will be making their gifts, some will be buying little gifts. And as I understand it - there is not a set time to put the gifts in - unless we decide as a group to do a certain schedule. Is that right Kathy?

This is my first time to participate in the FE so I really am not an expert - I just know what folks have shared here on the DIS.

You are right. As I said only one of my cruises had a schedule and it was the first (4 night Bahama). The other 2 which were 7 nights we did not worry about it and it worked out well with something in it everyday.

Our cruise documents were in the box when I got home yesterday. Now just waiting on my son and daughter in laws documents.

Formal night is probably the second night of the cruise (the first full day at sea). That's just my guess based on other 4 night cruises I've taken out of Galveston on other lines. Pirate night is definitely the Cozumel night . Are you on the waitlist for first seating? I'd keep checking. We booked on 12/12 and were waitlisted for first seating, but I called the other day to ask about something, and we were confirmed on first seating. Hopefully, you'll get switched too!

So, who's dressing up for pirate night? DS was a pirate for Halloween this year so his outfit is done (plus he has Jake stuff). DH and I plan on dressing up but I haven't had time to think about it yet...got to get past Christmas first!

DS and DD were both pirates (pirate princess for DD) this past halloween too. I think I will dress up and Hubby has a pirate t-shirt and thats about how far he will go lol!

We're hoping to dress up, too . We were at WDW over Thanksgiving, and the boys did the Pirate's League, so they've both got pirate stuff galore (we brought outfits with us since they are so pricey at WDW). I will buy DH and I outfits online . Waiting to get past Christmas, here, too.

Speaking of Christmas, here's a picture of the shirts I made to surprise the boys about the cruise tomorrow . I packed them in a gift bag with some cardstock "boarding passes" from the DISign board (I borrowed most of the graphics for the shirts from the DISigners, too ).

I think they turned out cute! Can't wait to wear them on embarkation day ! --Katie

In this group we have 26 children (4 I still need the gender and ages of)

There are 13 girls ages 2, 3, 5, 6, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10, 11, 13, 14

There are 9 boys ages 3, 3, 6, 7, 7, 7, 8, 11, 13

As I said there are 4 I don't have info on yet.

There are 2 staterooms that have extra adults in them. I have 2 adult children with me and Heather (snarkyhouston) has her adult sister in an additional stateroom. (Just wanted to be sure everyone knew those cruisers were not children)

I have contacted all that I needed info from by e-mail or pm and a recap of those:

rhollis need 2 stateroom #'s

moecrespo need stateroom # and info on the rest of your family

Up here in our area we just had the first White Christmas since 1975!
The snow is beautiful. We got over 4 inches possibly close to 5.
Unfortuneately the temps are well below freezing, so we will have some ice to deal with also. Hope each of you had a fantastic and Merry Christmas!

We just booked this cruise today! We just got off the 14 day Panama Canal cruise on the Wonder on Dec 23. We had so much fun we booked this cruise to take our two granddaughters. We would love to be on the FE list. It is Dave, Sherry, Maddie(6) and Tori (4). I will go back and read the pages tonight and then ask questions. Hooray cruising again! Sherry

When we get off the boat in Cozumel what do we take with us to get back on the Ship? is it our ID's and KTTWC for adults and just KTTWC for the kids?? I'm clueless

Usually ship card plus photo id for adults, just ship card for kids . --Katie
