How do you book online for a room only when u want to use your ap discount? I really don't want to call and give someone my cc over the phone.

You have to call central reservations as they are the only ones with AP rates and dates. I wouldn't worry about the cc over the phone.

If you already have an AP, you can register it on WDW's web site, then book the resort room at the AP rate (if available) online. If you don't
have an AP when you reserve your room, you will have to call.

not true at all...I booked my room only online

OP, I am on my phone so I don't know the exact details but you have to go into the website and select special offers or there was a spot at the bottom below where you entered your travel dates to enter the code. you would need to have the room only code (usually its a 3 digit code) to apply it at this point. It really isn't very difficult to do.

As others have said, you can book a reservation online using your AP. You have to have registered your AP on the website already.

1. Go to the Disney website (waltdisneyworld.com)
2. Sign in (upper right corner) - the new page requires you to verify information for your account and accept the terms & conditions. Hopefully you only have to do this once.
3. Under MyDisneyExperience click on "Annual Passholders"
4. Click on "Passholder Resort Special Offers"
5. Click on the link for the offer you're interested in and then about half way down the page you'll see a link for "Check Availability" or "book online". You can use those to book your trip.

These are the steps I used just now to make sure you can still make an online reservation given the new webpage design. Things might be different if they tweak the site (again). Good luck!

You can go through the passholder website. That's what I did.

I signed in as a passholder, found the deal I was looking for and booked it that way. I haven't seen if it has a new webpage design.

I used it after it had been down for a day and a half for maintenance.

Do these steps on almost all of our trips:)

Another option for those making ressies via phone but are hesitant to give credit card information- Use the credit card to purchase a Disney gift card ahead of time, then use the gift card to make the ressie over the phone.

Great idea! Thanks! :thumbsup2

(Why didn't I think of that?????!!!!!) :goodvibes

Online room only ressies are easy. Go to the passholder page, register and go. Just as easy as the regular reservation page. You can compare rates on rooms too. I always do it online!
