Disney done differently, (BOG dining updates pages 202 and 203)

That food looks so Yummy Tink! I love all of your great knowledge on Disney "stuff".

 LOVED  the pic of JJ you posted on my PTR, I will be back later to answer your questions there, but YES you can get a blood clot in the foot. Anywhere you have blood flow it is a risk.

I hope JJ is enjoying all of his activities and acting! :goodvibes

Oh that food all looks so good!

There is only one thing I have not like that I tried at The Coral Reef. That was their signature lobster soup. Other people swear by it, so don't let me keep anyone from trying it. I just know that I won't be ordering it.

It tasted as good as it looked!

I called me mom and told her not to hesitate to call. She said the swelling is down this morning and she is keeping an eye on it.

happy to hear your dad's swelling is better!

we love eating at the Coral Reef and always had great food and service!

Thanks, I was happy to hear it too.

It's one of our favorite places to eat. Glad you have had good experience there.

Thanks for the tip regarding getting to BOG early for lunch!

So glad we got a chance to catch up a little yesterday. Thanks for checking out the new TR.

I'm sure BoG will be very popular for a long time.

Another tip, if you want to eat at dinnertime and you'd like to try the gray stuff, be sure to mark what you are celebrating on your reservation. Although I was told during the preview to be sure to ask for it, I've been told by DIS friends who went this week that the "gray stuff" is reserved for those who are celebrating.

I'm catching up too! Great pics in this thread :-)

Always great to see you post here! I miss talking with you, but please know that you are very inspiring to me and I'm so proud of you and your weightloss and marathon training.

Of course, I thought of you recently when I told WDWrids in this tr about our experience at Narcoosees way back! That was a great meal, and we had awesome seats.

Thanks! Dh got me an awesome anniversary gift! A Nikon!

It's on the kids menu! OOp you can get it! But ds did not care for it. He liked my cheesecake much better than his brownie.

I really enjoyed catching up yesterday. I have to say, you and a few others helped to brighten my day. I have had such a hard time being on dis lately. Thanks to yesterday and today with another good friend I am all caught up with my threads and I think I may just start a TR and PTR. We will see though, I am still a little DISenfranchised. ;)

The gray stuff is reserved? :scratchin Hmmmm... we can celebrate dd's bday... kinda. It is in the month. Does that count?

I'm glad we made your day a little brighter and that you are back to posting!

Please be sure to link me up to both the PTR and TR!

I guess it's saved for special occasions. We asked and didn't get. Our friends who went last week, asked then begged before they got one plate to split.

I will be sure to let you know when/if I do start one.

And... what do you think constitutes a special occasion? Birthday, anniversary... running the phm? :rotfl:

Ann, I would use the birthday. Mark is the only one who got the grey stuff (and don't worry if you don't get it...it's not all that special).

Well, I am not sure I will worry too much about it. Thanks for the tips :)

It's like a cookies and cream or oreo mousse type dessert, and just like Kathy said, they had to split tasting it between them. They loved it though and the presentation is pretty.

Merry Christmas
