I am cruising during spring break and am planning on doing my online registration at 90 days. For those of you who cruise during busy weeks, how early should I expect to be able to get for my boarding time? Last cruise, our boarding time was 11am and we loved it. We are staying the night before at the airport hotel and would love to board as soon as possible.

I can't speak for spring break or Christmas, but we sailed in summer which is still pretty busy and even as a new cruiser booking at 75 days I had no trouble getting my pick of port arrival times or Palo times.

Sailing at Christmas. Did not wake up early to do online check in when ours opened and we were able to get 11.

How many days out were you able check in? Have a wonderful cruise. You must be so excited!

I'm gold, so I guess 90? Haha. I can't keep up with the rules.

Gold books at 105 days.

To the OP, if you are cruising the week before Easter the availability for Palo, excursions and so far PATs is still quite good. It is the first cruise where I didn't watch Palo reservations disappear as I was trying to confirm them at midnight or 3 am when we had to wait up until then before 2007. This was at 2 pm the day of our booking window because I had forgotten.

What are PATs? I can book on Dec. 24th, so I guess I will be up late hoping for an early boarding slot. :confused3

"Port Arrival Time" A time assignment given out after completing online checkin, which last I knew could first be done at 3:01 am on the day your booking window opens. This time slot is tied to your actually boarding # given at port. Some want to board as early as possible, so they want the earliest slot of 11am. So to assure that slot the stay/wake up early to obtain.
HTH

Sorry. Also, the port arrival times were available at midnight along with the other selections when checking in for the 3/23/13 cruise at the 105 day mark. :) Last year it was at 3 a.m. Must have been a recent change.

I am also on the 3/23 cruise. If you are able to look, could you see if the kayak and zip line puerto Rico excursion is still open (if not I'll have to start thinking of a back up). Also what times it is offered?

I am hoping to still have some availability in the and adult dining options when I book next week!

Thanks

There have been several reports here that both the excursion and checkin windows have been opening at midnight.

:cutie:

It is still listed. No times given but is 4.5 hours.

I was online at midnight booking palo for our spring break cruise and noticed that I was able to choose boarding time too. We got 11am :-). Our cruise friends got up the following morning and still able to get 11am. We are silver so it was 90 days out.

Oh I forgot about this! We haven't cruised since 2005, so we never had to deal with port arrival times. LOL
We're probably not gold or silver or platinum (we've only been on 2 cruises-a 4 night on the Wonder and a 7 night on the Magic), when does online registration open for common folk? :lmao:
I honestly feel like a new cruiser. It's been so long!
And we'll be sailing for the first time with a child, so I feel like there's a lot I don't know about that too!! :crazy2:
We're 173 days out right now, so we have plenty of time. But it's exciting to finally be planning a trip again!

ETA: OK, so I just looked it up, and it looks like we're Silver...LOL And I didn't even know it. So we can register online at 90 days.
