Finally I was able to book the fairy tale suite for Dec 2013!!! I had hoped to get it in Sept 2013 but all the dates I wanted were booked. Super excited!!

Thank you! I figure it is the closest I will ever get to staying in a Disney castle so oh well. LOL

Oooooo, you'll love it!!! I got to stay there for 2 nights in September. AWESOME!!!! The carpet is real silk, btw!

Really??? I had no idea! I can't wait!! I am going to keep trying to see if someone cancels in September when my mom and I are there. I would love to give her a night there for her birthday

What number are you calling? When I first started trying, the number I called did not have the correct information. They kept telling me it was completely sold out, which I found hard to believe. I got a hold of a different number and lo and behold, NONE of my dates were even taken!!

Would it be okay with you if I posted some pictures on a separate thread? I've been meaning to do that for a long time.

Did you know that the suite comes with concierge privileges, and the concierge lounge is right next door??? It's so awesome you won't believe it. The FTS has a corner view and the fireworks viewing is fabulous! Just run next door to the lounge and get some champagne, then watch the show!

Feel free to post pics! I would LOVE to see them!!

I called the 714 300 7520. It was strange because I called 1 week ago and Sept 14 was available and yesterday I called to book it and it was gone. In 1 week someone booked that SPECIFIC day? September 15-17 was already gone when I first called, but out of 365 days that 1 specific day was booked 1 week later. And nothing is going on special so I don't know.

I stayed at the suite with Dizme and it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! A magical dream come true! I have a gazillion pics too, but haven't had time to load them to photobucket so I can share. You're gunna love it an never want to leave!!!

I'll see if I can find the number I used. One thing about September is it is one of the lowest rates--$650, which isn't bad considering it includes concierge. However, that was this Sept. and I booked it a year ago so I suspect the rates have gone up. I had been told the rates were $800-$1200, with $800 the lowest it went, so I was surprised at the price. When I checked regular suites that did not include concierge, they were almost the same price, but of course the FTS only has one king bed. I got it for $750 in July for my son and DIL for their honeymoon, and that was right when Carsland opened so the price wasn't too bad when I called last March. It's funny that I had booked it for myself for Sept. and then found out they were getting married in July so they actually got to see it first.

Anyway, it may be that the date you want is one of the lowest rate days but it also may be that you're not getting someone who has direct access to the specialty suite calendar. That's what happened to me at first.

Do you mind if I post pictures with us in them? You can include yours, too! I hope you post the video of the entryway. Yours turned out a lot better than mine!

It sounds amazing! I cannot wait to see photos and I hope you have a magical time!

I was there with DizMe and Disneyluvr2. It is truly amazing. There are so many oo's and aa's to explain. One thing that I could not believe was the real fruit bowl. Not just your typical oranges, bananas, and apples. There were fresh berries as well. :tink:

Ah!! My buds. I'm never sure how much to say about my friends when I post as I don't want to give out information about others that they may not want shared. Glad you guys showed up here, LOL!

Yes...we all three shared the FTS!! We got special permission to do so and each night someone got to sleep on the chaise because rollaways are not allowed in the suite. I was cheated out of the chaise experience and had to have the giant canopy princess bed every night, sigh. :rotfl2:

Yes please! Everyone post pics! There are a few on the Disneyland website, but I would rather see fan pics versus company ones.

Oh and the cost for Sept 14 2013 was $750. I am going December 27-30 and of course that is way higher, $1000 a night!!! BUT this will be the Ultimate Disney trip so I am splurging. Dec 27-30 at Disneyland, then Dec 30-Jan 3rd at Disney World and staying at my Beach Club DVC. I am sooo excited for this trip! To get to stay in the fairy tale suite during the holidays is a wonderful Christmas gift to myself for next year;)

You mean I missed something? Please splain this to me.....I know not of what you speak. I need to be a cool kid.

Oh wow, nyck, you are going to have FUN FUN FUN!!! That is one ultimate trip, all right!! :thumbsup2

liz and rd, DLH has a handful of special suites on the top floor of the Adventure tower (overlooking DTD or the pool). They are all themed and very special. Each comes with concierge. The smallest (and most affordable) of the suites is the FairyTale suite. It's 800 square feet so not huge but it has floor-to-ceiling windows, a huge canopy bed, and it really lives up to its name. Here is a link with pictures of the FTS: http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland-hotel/gallery/#/rooms,fairytales-signature-suite. The other suites are much larger--there's an adventure suite, pirate suite, big thunder suite, and Mickey's penthouse. We got to peek into the suite across from us, which I think was the Pirate Suite, and the dining table was gigantic! There is some info/pics here or you can google it http://disneylandscoop.com/category/disneyland-hotel-signature-suites/
