*swoon* So exciting!!!!

And agree that all three musical choices were a bit boring. Although of the three I was hoping for Life is Highway. It became our theme song on our mega family road trip this past summer.

Glad I am not the only one who is tired and achy and ready for January 14th......:rolleyes1

Between all the holiday stress, work stress and my plantar fasciitis being a PITA, I am having trouble getting runs done. I did my big 10/20 back to back runs, so I am okay that I have enough to get the Goofy done. But I know that I need to keep running between now and the race. I just don't wanna.:p

Minus the PF and the Goofy, I am right there with you. I've done 18 miles. Don't really want to do that 20, but I will. I don't want to run AT ALL right now. And I have to figure out the shoe issue.

I am never, ever doing another 26.2. (Except for maybe the 10 year Goofy :rotfl2:)

I just ask that if this link comes up prior to the link on runDisney, DO NOT panic if you are not found, shirt size in incorrect, or any other issue exists. Our friends have not figured out how to go live in a sandbox environment. This came to head a couple years ago when shirts were mostly listed as either small or extra small. They had only uploaded the bib data and were having a glitch or two. With the multiple ways of entering the race, there may be a few folks who do not pop up as soon as the data is available on these links. So, have patience until you see the link on the runDisney site. Then email if there is an issue.

Yes, I agree! I know runDisney was mad at us for the Princess last year as people started calling immediately to change corrals, etc., and they didn't know how sneaky we were and had no idea we already had our waivers. :) I figured by now they would make them a little harder to find...

Not hurting injury wise, but I know how you feel with the holidays coming up, work, family, etc. There just isn't enough time in the day. I'm ready for the race to be here but I'm not ready.:scared: I start to get weepy when I think about crossing the finish line and I get weepy if I think about getting swept. I'm an emotional mess these days.

Maura's correct, you have more than enough miles under foot to finish. The issue is are your mentally ready. 20 miles seems daunting. I rarely run it in training as I get bored. I limit my long runs to 3 - 3.5 hours and call it good. Physically you are good to go but think about the mental side. Does running 7 unknown miles seem over whelming, or have you figured out enough mental games to get through those miles. While 7 miles seems like a long way from the couch, more than likely you have the tool set learned to get your current runs under foot to carry you through those miles. At Disney half of the 7 are in parks or along resorts so they are not really all that bad.

Hang in there.

Did my 20 miler last week so I'm stepping back this week and then going 23 next week before taper. At this point I think I can do it, but then I get scared all over again.

More training? LOL;) When is the Goofy 10th?

Lots of people figured out how to get the drawing of the 20th anniversary medal a day early too. :confused3 Silly runDisney.

Does anyone know what SAG would signify? (aside from the wagon I wish to avoid) I was clicking around the parent directory at http://www.trackshack.com/disneysports/ and came across this link, which when I searched my last name I got a bib number, but I couldn't find my other friends I know to be registered for the marathon. http://www.trackshack.com/disneysports/sag/

Or maybe I just need to chill out and wait for them to activate the actual search page. :rolleyes1

...it was more than a day early...it was on a Facebook group at least a week beforehand. We also knew about the Princess flash sale about a day after the Princess contest was announced. They are the worst secret keepers ever! :)

I saw that too...I typed on some random common last names, and there don't appear to be any above 13,000, which you know there will be! Also, I don't see any distinction between Marathon and Half Marathon...if you search "All SAG" it comes up with a shorter list and the word "YES" next to SAG....I am curious...

I think these were people that were taken on the "SAG" bus and DNF'd. I searched the last name Wilson and found bib number 12546 with the Yes in SAG. I searched the results of the W&D 2012 and found her without a finish time.

The link with SAG is for the Wine and Dine 1/2 marathon.

Well that's kind of creepy that someone with my (not very common) name has registered before! At least the other me didn't get swept, I guess. :rotfl2:

I'm just anxious to know what corral I'm in, hoping it's not the last one. This is my first marathon and I entered a finish time of 6 hrs. We shall see! Though I guess there's still no guarantee we'll know corral placement until the expo...

Isn't that interesting... the file is dated December 2011. You mean the mouse can predict who will sag?

Trust me... you are not in the last corral. If you put a time in and between 5:01 and 6:00 there are a few hundred folks who put a slower time, no time or less than 5:00 without race results to back it up. You may only have one corral behind you, but I am certain it's not the last.

Now watch me be wrong

Ah. I'm pretty anti-Facebook (just check the runDisney and SparkleSkirts pages) so I missed all the hoopla. :teeth:

After going back to last year posts about waivers, I'm thinking tomorrow will be the day. Runners can still defer either by today or tomorrow if I'm correct.

Experiencing my first cold with bad congestion in over 2 years. Are ya kidding me!! I don't need this right now. I had to bag my long run last weekend and it doesn't look like I will be doing any long running until I can breathe.

I have a reindeer 5k fun run this weekend with my friends and we are all dressing up so I hope I feel better by Saturday.

Good luck to everyone these next few weeks! It will all be worth it in the end!! :dance3:
