hmmmm 10 feet long???
I didn't know it did that
congrats

only hint I been told is to upgrade the software for it so you can use svg files

thanks!!!

yah I'm not sure about the 10 feet long...the mats I got with it are only 8 x 12"
got it loaded into my computer...will probably play with it tomorrow, got 3 $10 on-line cards and 3 mats with it too! will see about the upgrade when I play with it some Reddy...would be cool to finally get to use svg files...going to take baby steps :rotfl:

thanks ladies! I plan on trying out some simple stuff tomorrow, will let you know how I do!

ask any questions you may have... I'll try to answer. I love my Cameo:cheer2:

The 10 feet part is more for vinyl. You can cut vinyl without a mat.

Go get your Silhouette Studio software, and there should be about 50 free studio files available to you for cutting. The each week on Tuesday, go back to the Silhouette Online Store and download your free file! Sometimes it's a good file, sometime not... but anything free is good.

You can also place files you may want to buy into a wishlist.

And each week they have a bunch of files on "clearance" for just $0.50. So your $30 should last a while, if you are picky on what you want to buy.

As for upgrading, don't pay the $50. You will be able to find "deals" for $25-$30 for the software upgrade to the Silhouette Studio Designer Edition.

I can even point you in the direction of few forums/facebook pages that are geared toward the Sil.

Congratulations!

Wayyyy cool!!! With that kind of luck you need to go buy a lottery ticket too:woohoo:

:lmao: maybe I should of bought one from the big one!

thanks! I will!

cool I can make a shape and add font to it, then cut out and get either the relief or letters...with the relief you can also cut a mat the same measurements!
