Do I stand a chance?

Hey, so I'm a Math major in college. I want to do a PI, but I don't really know what I'd have the best chance at.

Any suggestions?

You're asking a very broad question; be more specific.

I can tell you, however, that a CP should almost always preclude a PI.

I have been a CP. I was looking at the Finance PI, and my worry with that is that they'll want people trained in business AND good with numbers. I'm missing the first.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure the PI's are for former CP's ONLY.

Not necessarily true (and I do see your italics) I participated in 2 PIs and have never done the CP. Only certain PIs require participation in the CP. I believe this is one of the most common false understandings about the PI programs.

One of the PIs that I participated in was the finance/accounting PI. They are looking for the strongest candidates that match the skill set of an entry level analyst. If you look online at open positions of Financial Analysts you can get a better understanding of what they are looking for.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure the PI's are for former CP's ONLY.

As I stated before, I have done 2 PIs and never participated in the CP, therefore this is not true.
