jamie Foxx on SNL: I miss In Living Color

SNL won't be on here for another 90 minutes....but your post cracks me up. Just got off Facebook where the conversations from the East Coast are calling today's show "the worst SNL in history".

I disagree it's the worst in history (Paris Hilton hosted for goodness sakes - and remember the Adrian Brody debacle?) but it's really bad.

The Dermot Mulroney/Dylan McDermot thing however, was hilarious, especially the end.

All of the funny skits were at the end of the show...why? :confused3

And to the op, I also loved 'in Living Color' those who weren't around for it do not know what they missed.

I agree about In Living Color. Jamie Foxx really just needs to get back into comedy. That's what he does best.

DH and I were just talking about "Sha'Nay'Nay" last night. I miss "In Living Color" too!

We had it on live, but were recording at the same time figuring we'd watch a little then go to bed & finish it in the morning. We got up this morning & deleted it off the DVR. What we saw last night was awful. What we watched of last night was the worst episode so far in what has been a VERY disappointing season.

I don't believe I ever saw an episode of In Living Color that was so completely unfunny. Maybe SNL needs to talk to KIW about some writing.

It was bad last night. I had to turn it off. The Dermot sketch was the only bright spot.

Just a couple of weeks ago my husband and I were talking about missing In Living Color. So funny!!! The bum who carried around his personal latrine (pickle jar with one large pickle) could get me laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. Good stuff!!

I stopped watching it last night and I usually watch the whole thing. I was turned off from the monologue. It was so racist.

I was so disgusted by the first monologue, I turned it off about 10 mins into the show.

I loved "In Living Color". I'm trying to remember all Jamie Fox's characters. Wanda the ugly girl? Men on...? And did you know Jennifer Lopez got her start as a fly girl on In Living Color? And the female judge on "Dancing with the Stars" was a fly girl also.

I watch In living Color clips on youtube all the time! My all-time favorite character was Wanda(played by Jamie Foxx). I have introduced my teenagers to Wanda. Who knew one day Wanda would win an Oscar!!

One of the worst episodes in a very poor season. The Dermot sketch was the only funny thing.

It was incredibly racist as well- and both DH and I said "at least In Living Color was funny" without going racist.

The short Ms. Clause sketch during Weekend Update did get one small giggle.

Target, atleast the one by me, has season 1 of In Living Color for $5. I have all the seasons on dvd. Love the Mens on film and fire mashall bill. I was recently watching the 1st season of A Different World and alot of the Waynes family were in some episodes.

Shocking that a black man would mention killing white people on SNL. I mean that has NEVER happened before.

I had no issues with Jamie's monologue. In the context of the movie he is a slave and is killing the white oppressors. Big deal. And I know this may be shocking but a white man wrote the movie. :scared1: And to be honest being hispanic is the new white. ;) But he can have his monologue.

A tiny part of his monologue was about his new movie.
