Had the most amazing time on the Fantasy. PJ, Andy and Alice were our concierge hosts and were absolutely incredible! We are definitely doing this vacation again!

So glad you had an amazing trip! We are sailing conceirge on the Fantasy next week and can't wait!
What cabin did you have? How were the offerings in the lounge? What drinks are available at happy hour? Hoping for cocktails!!

What movies were showing?

We had 12010. Family verandah. It was plenty spacious for us. We spent very little time in there other than to sleep and shower. A one bedroom would have been a waste of money for us given how little time we spent there. We did spend a lot of time in the concierge sun deck and lounge. Continental breakfast every morning and nice little sandwiches, cheese, crackers, fruit and veggies through the day. Appetizers during the happy hour which ran from 5-5:45 and 7:15-8-15. Cocktails, wine, beer all available. Tony had a fully stocked bar. They have a great coffee machine in there that makes yummy mochachino and cafe latte. Big screen tv showing disney movies with no sound, but the kids didn't seem to mind. Lots of games for the kids to play. There is a fridge in your room stocked with water and soda, but if you run out you can replenish your supplies from the lounge.
Movies on the cruise were Wreck it Ralph, Finding Nemo 3D, Lincoln, Frankenweenie, the Avengers.
Best part of the cruise was the staff. PJ, Andy and Alice were beyond awesome!

Rumor has it that PJ is leaving for vacation soon. Did you get any insight as to when? We cruise next Saturday and remember PJ fondly from Palo on the Magic.

He will be there next week. I can't remember exactly, but I think he said he still has seven weeks on this contract.

Thank you so much! We are in 12008.......were you in the 'bump' with the slightly extended balcony? Would love to see pictures of your cabin if you have any.
My son is so pleased that Wreck it Ralph is on....and mummy is pleased that there are cocktails at happy hour!!! yipee! Is there a cocktail menu or just ask for them to make you something?

Super excited now about next week!!!

The Cappuccinos from that machine were the best. I would grab one and go up the stairs and no one was ever up there. :coffee:

I killed one of their bottles of Scotch. That was good also.:crazy2:

The sun deck sounds nice and private. Were there many shaded areas there?

Access to other areas? good location?

With the kids, having snacks around at all times is a good thing, especially in the am, but more snacks = less food in the restaurants.... Nice to have drinks so easily convenient.

I would think that the main thing separating the concierge level would be the service, but seeing that the service is pretty great all over the ship???

Would you do it again? why?

Alice from Italy? If so, she was our concierge on the Magic over the summer. Very sweet! After our Magic cruise, she was leaving for vacation to spend two weeks on the Fantasy because that is where her boyfriend was writing.

No shaded areas but they have the big loungers with the covers you can draw up.
I would definitely do it again! No line up on check in day alone was worth it, but also first dibs on the cabanas on castaway cay (which was awesome) and preferred dinner seating times and rotation. The concierges take care of everything so it really was stress free. The rooms are nicer too and have a lot more storage space. I brought a whole lot of stuff from the "list" and never used it. The convenience of grabbing water bottles and soda cans without having to pay was nice as was the frilly coffees. The sun deck and lounges are also nice places to go to escape the crowds on sea days.

Yes, Alice from Italy. Her boyfriend is now on another ship! She was really really sweet. My son just loved her!

Woops! Just realized my phone auto-corrected "working" to "writing." Alice was such a sweetheart, and so competent. :thumbsup2

Hey, I have been following this and you are tempting me to upgrade the cruise we have booked to concierge. However, we are a family of seven and have to book 2 rooms. Right now we have the kids booked into a standard room and we are in a deluxe family veranda. The upgrade for the one room is not significant, but to upgrade both would be too much for our budget this time. So how do they monitor who is in and out of the concierge areas? My husbands name is on the kids room reservation so would only the people who are listed as in that stateroom be allowed in the lounge and deck areas? If anyone has any info that would be great.

We just booked a 7n western 1br for spring break 2014. It's costing us an arm and a leg but we feel the space and the service are worth it to us. It will be our first time cruising concierge and I don't know how well they are able to monitor guests. Honestly, I'd be ticked if we couldn't find loungers because someone brought family members or friends from nonconcierge rooms up. If you want to use the space and services, you should be willing to pay for it.

THIS. If you want your whole family to have access, pay for it.

When you book concierge, all the guest in that cabin get Gold colored KTTW cards (very distinctive) that allow you access into the concierge areas e.g. Lounge, sun deck etc. Additionally the concierge hosts will know all of the the concierge guests on site by name. I Would't risk bringing non concierge guests into concierge areas. :sad2:

I am so glad you posted this thread cause I just upgraded our reservation to the concierge level. It's a Christmas present to my husband. What types of soda do they have? Is it only Coke products? A friend that is traveling with me is a diet Dr. Pepper fanatic! Please tell me more about the concierge level.
