Good morning, Js & Ks!

There's not a lot going on, but tons going on... you know?? It is that mad rush to Christmas here and that includes a whole slew of recitals that are starting up on Saturday morning.

We are holding it at our library theater which is usually not a problem. However, this weekend marks the 150th anniversary celebration of the Battle of Fredericksburg and there will be thousands of union and confederate "soldiers" encamped all over our town and canons and guns and pontoon crossings and speeches and.... you get the picture. I can't wait to hear our students' pieces mixed with the sound of canon!!

Oh my goodness - that is such sad news - sending prayers and hugs to all of you!!

...I feel so bad for him....he's kinda all alone, because the hospital isn't near any of us. It didn't help that it's located almost in the heart of all the devastation of Hurricane Sandy!

AHHHH - I'm so excited you are there!! I can hardly wait till Feb. - when our friends were there they got a sneak peek at the enchanted tales with Belle thing - they sent me video - I sent it to Alison, but didn't post here, I meant to ask them, but forgot, anyway, it was SO neat - did you get to do that? What was your take on it??

Brandi, sorry you didn't get to WDW on your trip, but I know you're glad to be back home!


I am flying home from Colorado Springs later today. Have to take that darn turboprop again up to Denver. Wish me luck! The weather here has been very nice, but I'll be glad to get back home to ATL and the warmer weather! It will be getting extremely cold here starting tomorrow!

Our work week didn't go as planned and we ended up only having to work one day of the 4 -- almost felt like a vacation! I hadn't been to Manitou Springs in many years and I have to say, it is even lovelier than I remembered!

I am finished working for 2012 so after I get home, I will be in full Christmas/WDW mode!
