We got our first snow of this winter in the night !

It was snowing at 5.00 am and is still doing it now although it's starting to be mixed with rain.

Should stay like this until mid morning and then continue just raining.

The ones doing EMH are going to get a suprise :rotfl:

More snow is due next week

It is pretty much mush here now looking out of the window to the road - Pb is going to be when it freezes as it's going to be an ice rink :sad2:

They put no grit down even though there was a alert for 37 departments last night.

Temperature wise it's 1° feels like -3° at 9.00 am and the children going past on their way to school are seriously wrapped up, even have their balaclavas on :goodvibes

Totally understand, snow looks so pretty when it's new and fresh but it's not so much fun when it gets slippery or starts causing havoc with everyone's plans.

It looks beautiful and I am the first to get excited when it snows. But having DD who hates being in her pushchair if something new, white and fluffy was in the ground I would never be able to keep her in there. Lol

It looks beautiful but I'm hoping it's gone by Monday.

It's gone now and it's raining fairly steadily....be prepared for more snow/sleet showers next week :)

Wow! Are those recent pictures? Because if they are I may have to reconsider my trip next Tuesday (Dec. 11). I am from Hawaii and I don't think I could survive such cold weather! In fact I have only seen snow fall once in my entire life and I am not young :)

Apparently they were taken this morning.

It's all gone, it's just wet now. Next week will bring more sleet and snow but not heavy snowfall that will settle at all.

But it's warmer when it snows as it will go to 5° today - feel like 1° where as yesterday it didn't get above 3° - feels like -2°

Next Tuesday atm is forecasted 1° to 4° should be dry but will feel very damp as humidity will be up to 90% :)

Wow! Looks amazing! We are there for christmas, would be so magical waking up to know Xmas morning! Snow boots will be packed! :rotfl2:

It truly is magical when it snows, i have some beautiful photos from a few years ago when there was heavy snow just before Christmas.

Although being stuck in CDG airport for 27 hours trying to get home wasn't much fun i can tell you.
