Car Care Center and shuttle/luggage

We're checking out of POR on 1/28 and moving to offsite. I have a reservation to pick up a car at the CCC at noon on 1/28. So I will call the number the day before and arrange a shuttle pick up at POR. Will they pick up my whole party and can we bring our luggage to the CCC, then get the car and transfer everything ourselves? Or will I have to go back to POR after I've gotten the rental car and transfer the luggage (and if so, will POR even let me back in, given that I've officially checked out by that time)?

If it were me....with a family the size of yours.....I would go get the car myself, leaving everyone else at POR, with the luggage. That way, they can relax for a bit longer, grab some lunch in the food court, whatever. The bags can stay with them, or they can be left with Luggage Assistence (which will mean a tip of about $1 per bag).
You can do anything you want, at POR, for that entire day. You are good to go there until midnight. Won't be an issue.

I'm with G4T on this one (as usual), go and get the car alone. Its much simpler than having to wrestle the bags on/off the shuttle at the same time as herding the rest of the family.

Not sure I want to leave the kids alone. If we still had a room booked, then I could see it. But to just leave them to their own devices at a food court or somewhere similar? Yikes!

Good to know about getting all day at POR even after check out. Maybe I'll play with the dates/times and rebook so that I can do a pick up at a better time.

Pretty much doing the same thing in February. I'd leave the luggage at POR and come back for it. Take the kids with you to get the car.
