I've just finished my dining report - link in my signature - Dixons go deluxe Oct/Nov 12.

We did 14 nights on free dining upgraded to deluxe.

Did almost all the character meals, lots of signatures and all three dinner shows.

A few UK Disers have posted on the thread but thought i'd mention it here aswell :)

Did you find it too much food? I was looking at it for next year

I have been avidly following, your daughter is such a cutie. DH and I are going Deluxe next year.

I planned it so we onlty had 2 meals a day.

We did a character breakfast or early 1 TS lunch and then a signature dinner or show in the evening.

Done this was it was very manageable and we didn't find it too much. I've put weight on but always do in US - DH lost weight (ate alot less burgers etc than he would do usually!)

Also alot of our meals were before park opening so didn't take away from park time. We didn't queue for characters in the parks as DD met them at the meals.

Thank you.

I know some Uk disers have seen it and posted but I know some don't post on the main boards. Enjoy planning for next year :goodvibes

Just like I told you at the Boardwalk, I still think the amount of food is too much on the DxDP. But that's just us and probably the fact that we don't manage to eat "properly" when we are in WDW. Most days 2 cookies for breakfast, 1 QS for lunch and a quick homemade sandwich will do on any given day. (except for a few TS here and there)

Still, your restaurant report/review had DW and I drool (I'll probably need to go buy a new keyboard tomorrow :) )

You indeed made it look like it was manageable. we will probably never do the DxDP, but your report made me reconsider my opinion about that dining plan.
Sure is a lot of food, but also looks like a lot of fun

thanks for sharing
