I Did It....I Booked Today

After thinking and thinking I finally made a decision today and had my cousin who is a TA book a trip for me.....AND I am staying at the resort that I've always dreamed of staying BEACH CLUB!! I was trying to decide between POR, WL or BC and Beach Club won.....How could it not, right?? I stayed at WL last November and absolutely LOVED it. I ran the numbers and BC was actually cheaper than WL (Courtyard View).......I have a garden view at BC. Trip is scheduled for Jan. 13 - Jan 19.....Hope I can still get some good ADRs....if not, oh well!!

Congrats!!!!! We were deciding between those 3 ourselves for our next trip but we chose BC as well. We are WL lovers for sure as well!! Hope we love BC!

I love the Beach Club! It's just so "airy" and pretty, and the location is wonderful. I love the short stroll to Epcot, and taking the boat to DHS, walking to dinner at Flying Fish, or to breakfast at the YC. It was my "dream resort" for my first stay, and "home" for my first solo trip adventure. If money were no object, it would be difficult to look at other options.

I see your last trip to BC was a solo......mine will be solo also. How is Flying Fish?

Flying Fish was great, food and service. I had the prix fixe dinner that was a Valentine's special the night I was there, but is apparently a regular fixture now. Crab cake and Caesar salad to start, for the entree a combo of the potato wrapped snapper and steak, and banana napoleon for dessert.

Enjoy your trip. The hardest part is trying to decide where to stay, at least for me!

We are doing the opposite!! Last trip we stayed at the Beach Club!! This trip we are staying at the Wilderness!! You'll love the Beach Club. We loved the location and the pool. But beings our next trip will be near Christmas...and probably won't get to enjoy the pool like in August...we decided to try the WL. Hope we aren't disappointed! Have fun!

Thanks everyone! I was able to make three ADRs yesterday......Breakfast at Tusker House, Dinner at Restaurant Merrakesh and dinner at Grand Floridian Cafe......may try for a couple more today

I had that feeling about WL (of course, I've always wanted to stay at BC) I almost booked POR, but when my TA came back with prices, WL (courtyard view; which is what I had Nov. 2011) was more.....I will probably be hooked!! LOL which is not a bad thing!!!
