Will You Chill Out if I Sprinkle You With Pixie Dust? The End p136 *New TR Link* p138

Sounds like a wonderful last night!

It really was. It was a perfect evening. In fact, I forgot to mention that it was actually a little cool out. Can you believe that? Cool in June? :confused3

I love all the pictures of your farewell tour around BW :thumbsup2

Thank you! I actually forgot I took all those pictures and you know I had to post them. :rotfl: They do bring back fond memories of our visit. I just love that resort.

As for your ride back to MCO, it is so easy to get turned around and going the wrong way! In September my dad got lost everytime he got behind the wheel :rotfl2:

Oh no - your poor dad! As a passenger it seems pretty straight forward. But I am sure its a little confusing when you are the driver. I always find exiting the airport a little overwhelming, but whichever way you turn there is a road that will take you to Disney!

Wonderful TR Mary Ellen, thanks so much for sharing with us :)

Thanks Pam! Thanks for joining in and sticking with me!

That poor Denny, he gets turned around a lot at Disney... Maybe you should start driving.

:rotfl2: True, but you have no idea how much I hate driving. Seriously. So as "directionless" as Denny is, its preferable to me being the wheel. Too many hours in commuter traffic has really taken its toll on me over the ears. However, I will have to step up to the plate and drive this summer. That's cool. I drive faster than Denny so that means an earlier arrival! :woohoo:

That sad picture of you leaving made me sad for you too! I hate leaving day.

Don't be sad. Your trip is a mere 4 days away! :cool1: I hope you have an awesomely fun time!!!!!!!

Don't be sad. Your trip is a mere 4 days away! :cool1: I hope you have an awesomely fun time!!!!!!!

Thank you! I'm so ready to be warm again. I'm excited to see the new Fantasyland but worried how many people are thinking the same thing.

Nice way to end your trip with Wishes!
Too bad you lost your book - I just borrowed it from a friend to read. It's been on my list for a while!

Sad this trip is done, but I'm super excited for your October TR!! ;)

Your pictures of Wishes are all amazing! Boohoo for leaving, but I guess that means we all have another TR to look forward to, right? ;)

I love your spot for Wishes! You were able to get some really great shots. Firework pictures are my favorite, and seeing yours made me wish I was at the Poly right now. :goodvibes

The Boardwalk has to be my least known Disney resort. Not sure why, just haven't spent a lot of time learning it, but based on your pictures, it seems like a really nice, quiet place. Sorry that your book went MIA, though! Bet that made the plane home feel a tad bit longer.

Always so sad when a good TR has to come to an end. But I'm looking forward to reading about your October trip!

Your Wishes shots are GORGEOUS! I need to show them to DH...I tried to convince him we should go watch the MNSSHP fireworks from the Poly beach one night while my parents were watching Paxton and he didn't think the view would be nice from there. :sad2:

And even more pretty shots of the Boardwalk. I've never seen it in person, but it looks amazing in your pics! Too bad about losing your book though. On a side note about it though, I just LOVED that book!! I read it last year around this time and once I got into it, I couldn't put it down. At least you were able to get another copy & finish it later on. I'm working to convince a friend she needs to give it a try!

Your Wishes firworks photos from the Poly beach are stunning! So awesome! They really capture the magic of the moment.. so glad you enjoyed it from this perspective on your last night.

The BW is so beautiful. It is my favorite Epcot resort.... wishing I could go back there next time but my DD planned our next trip and opted for somewhere else! [insert pouty face]

Argh about the book! The Girl with the Dragon Tatto is such a compelling read that it would be really disappointing to not be able to pick it up and read on your way home. :) (Coincidently, I just saw the movie last night.)

The wedding area on the beach at the Poly is Sunset Pointe (I can't remember if the e at the end is included or not...let's add it lol). One of my friends from college got married there, actually!

Love the little wedding door hanger - very cute!

As always, LOVE your fireworks pictures! Great idea to watch them from the Poly, I really enjoy that location too!

BOO for going home! But I'm glad you had a safe and uneventful trip back (save for the part about losing your book!)

Boo! Hate heading home. But luckily you had another trip on the books to look forward to you. That's the key, at least for me, to avoid leaving MCO in tears... know you'll be back on x date. :)

Love the Poly beach for fireworks. I've never been personally but definitely on my list for a future trip. Looks awesome.

So you recommend Girl with a Dragon Tattoo? I think I started it and couldn't get into it but am willing to give it another try.

Your pics are making me nostalgic for the Boardwalk. I have a few points I need to use within the year... maybe they will get me ~10 min in the cottages. :lmao:

You are KILLING me with those Boardwalk shots!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhh! I want to go back there so badly! We didn't even go into that area in October and there is just something about the Boardwalk/Beach Club area that I LOVE. Looks like our next trip won't be in that area either (no matter if we go in February or March)...must visit. ::yes::

Thanks for a great TR! Thanks for the shots of the standard view BWV, we have one for then end of April, now I have my fingers crossed for one of the larger ones. Love the firework pics, great job! Makes me rethink booking the desert at Tomorrowland Terrace, hmmm. Food for thought.

I have to try the Poly beach to watch Wishes. We didn't see any fireworks this past trip. DH hates trying to get out of the park with the 80,000 other guest of Walt! After the healthy young people riding the medi scooters last year pushing the non riders out of the way, he really hated trying to get out of there!

Anyway, I'm enjoying your TR as usual, it has been a good one. Looking forward to F&W TR.popcorn::

I don't know if I would like The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo. People keep recommending it to me.

We fly Airtran most of the time as they have a nonstop to Orlando & back. They usually move my take off time back & push the return later in the day.

So I got a new macbook pro today and despite that fact that I already have a much older mac, I am still trying to negotiate my way around this one. This whole touch pad mouse thing is so odd and it took me a while just to figure out how to open a second window. Sheesh. I have been fooling around with this thing all afternoon and evening.

I know I need to do replies and I am not sure when I will get to them. I have to go to my mom's tomorrow and help her take her cat to be put to sleep. Poor cat has a complete "whited out" lung from an accumulation of fluid which is most likely due to cancer. She wanted to take the cat home for a few days before putting her to sleep. It's so sad because my mom just loves this cat and it is going to tear her up to put this cat to sleep.

I know that I am going to be pretty upset too because the cat was born in my backyard. A stray wandered into our year 15 or so years ago and had 5 little kittens under our deck. Brian found them and we took them inside, made a cat hut in the laundry room, and waited until they were old enough for a home.

Anyway. I will get to replies ASAP. Maybe I can do a few tonight.

Thank you! I'm so ready to be warm again. I'm excited to see the new Fantasyland but worried how many people are thinking the same thing.

Please bring back some of that warm weather you - preferably 75 degrees and sunny. Hey, a girl can dream, right?

You might have to break tradition and get up early for rope drop one day. It will be worth it. The new fantasyland is very cool. You'll love it!

Nice way to end your trip with Wishes!
Too bad you lost your book - I just borrowed it from a friend to read. It's been on my list for a while!

It was a great ending to the trip! I really enjoyed it and it was a perfect evening!

It takes awhile to get into the book (close to 100 pages), but then it gets insanely good. I promise.

Sad this trip is done, but I'm super excited for your October TR!! ;)

Me too! That trip was such a whirlwind. I don't even know where to begin. So much of the events are running together in my head. But, I know that Cynthia will straighten me out!

Nope...no pure thoughts here  just making sure I get pass the DISboard censors! :woohoo:

:rotfl2: I should have known! :rotfl2: At least you're honest!

Your pictures of Wishes are all amazing!

Thank you! I have to admit - they look better than usual with this new computer. :thumbsup2

Boohoo for leaving, but I guess that means we all have another TR to look forward to, right? ;)

You know it. I will definitely be starting the trip report for Cynthia and I. I will be the main narrator with Cynthia chiming in.

Love how you spent your last night at dinner...firework pictures are awesome. I do love that quiet pool at the Poly...one of the many things I miss about not staying there.

Wonderful pictures as you leave the Bowardwalk...well, at least up until you get that scary clown picture. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

That is too funny that Denny got off too early and you had to double pay the toll.

Happy for an on-time take off and an on-time landing.

I'm glad it's not over and look forward to reading more.

:welcome: Disneykiwi!!!!!!! Thanks so much for reading my entire TR. I am honored.

First - I have to tell you that I actually visited New Zealand 20 years ago. Yup - almost 20 years to the date. It was the most fabulous country ever. I was enchanted. We stayed on the north island because our friends (K&T - from Daytona Beach) where actually in NZ during their sail around the world. They stayed in your lovely country for 6 months. We met up with them in Aukland. I loved it there and if I ever get a chance to go back to NZ I will. The country was so clean, the scenery was outstanding, and everyone was so so so friendly. :goodvibes

OMG!!! How cool is that - I am in the North Island, in the capital Wellington. I lived in Auckland for 15 years but moved back here to Wellington as its a much quieter pace of life down here even though it is the capital. Auckland got too big for me. It would be wonderful f you ever do come back - you must come further down the North Island to us here in Wgtn - we will look after you. That could be cool - a Dismeet in NZ :goodvibes

I am so glad you enjoyed my TR. I quickly found that the TR forum was my favorite forum on the boards. I love reading about other people's trips to Disney - so fun!

Definitely my favorite - it definitely keeps me going

Thanks. I am going to be wrapping this up soon, but after that I will start my October F&W TR. :thumbsup2

Will join up when it starts - thank you

I love the Poly quiet pool, I really want to stay there! I've always wanted to watch Wishes from the Poly, it seems like it would be a much better view than watching from the top of the Contemporary, which I didn't really like.

The Boardwalk is so beautiful, it's really on the top of my list of places to stay the next time I go to WDW! I just love walking through there at night, I love the feeling of the Epcot resorts! :goodvibes

Ugh going home is the worst, but at least you knew you'd be back in a few months! :yay: Are you doing a TR for the October trip?

I know I need to do replies and I am not sure when I will get to them. I have to go to my mom's tomorrow and help her take her cat to be put to sleep. Sorry about your mom's cat. I have just had to do that and while I know it was best, it was hard and hit me harder than when I have lost a cat otherwise.
