Cakes and Napoleons and F&W, oh my! Planning our Disney wedding!! UPDATED 9/15!!!

Nice to meet you, Stringbean's parents! :wave2:

The food looks so good! Hahah aww, your little Hoot is precious! :goodvibes

Um, why have I never witnessed chefs rapping? I think I need to re-examine my life...

Hanging out at the gate to eat pastries is totally fine!

Ah, the ME video gets me every time. It just revs me up for the trip even more at that point.

No hand soap? That's weird.

Wait, you mean you don't want to have a giant parade float head in your living room? How weird of you. :rotfl2:

Wow, you really did blend in with that watermelon patch.

Hoot is adorable! And you are a wise person you know. :thumbsup2

Hahahaha. Girl, Food Rocks used to be in the Land. LOL. Cranium Command, Cranium Command (which I LOVED btw). :rotfl2:

They were selling Cutco knives? My Mom has a set. I covet them.

Who DOESN'T love Epcot??? I love it too!!! Especially with F&W going on!

Thanks for sharing the South African food. We didn't get any food there on our trip this time, but it looks yummy!
I like Hoot! He's cute!

So nice to "meet" your parents too!!

I thought those chocolate creations were super cool! Loved them all.

Oh yeah - and the guys drumming with their kitchen appliances - they were excellent.

Yeah for a picture of your parents. They are so cute!

And food and wine porn. Everything looks delish. I could spend a small fortune at those booths. Oh wait - I did. :rotfl:

Hello to the folks!

It's supposed to signify wisdom. I named him Hoot. :goodvibes

Look how wise you are already. :thumbsup2

So sweet of your fella to get that for you. Maybe he was trying to represent how wise you are to keep him? ;)

I told DF that there was supposedly a Festival Center, and so we decided to make the trek over to the old Wonders of Live Pavilion to check it out.

We didn't make it over there. The girls would have enjoyed seeing the displays.

OMG, HOW did I miss that spinach/cheese paneer thingie?!?! AND the chocolate? This is why I love WDW though, you can go and still miss enough that you always need to go back! ;) Rey had that brat thing and he really liked it! :thumbsup2

Hey this is a shot in the dark, but I'm sensing that you guys seriously love EPCOT. :rotfl:

Hoot is adorable! :goodvibes

Those chocolate sculptures are phenomenal! I have aunts who can decorate cakes like that. It's amazing what people can do with food. pixiedust:

Hello Stringbean's parents!

Sounds like a successful F&W mission! The chocolate sculptures in the festival center are pretty cool!

Glad Wingnut got his shirt-and a present for you. Smart man. :goodvibes

Oh, your F&W pictures are making me drool all over my keyboard! :rotfl: We are going in OCT 2013 and it will be our first F&W festival! :cool1: Even better? My folks are joining us for part of the trip and have promised to keep the kids one night so DH and I can have a F&W festival date night! :woohoo: Although we always get the DP, I am already saving my $$$ for lots of F&W deliciousness! :cloud9:

Note to Self: Do not look at food pics from Epcot's Food & Wine Festival when it's lunchtime and all you have is tuna and an apple.:(

Just kidding, of course I loved seeing all your food pics. Makes me even more determined to make it for F&W soon! Looks like you had a great start to your trip. Nice pic of your parents too!

Hello Mom & Dad Stringbean! :wave2:

Wait, do you guys enjoy Epcot?!

Hoot is adorable! :goodvibes

Hi Stringbeans parents!!

I LOVE Epcot! And luckily so does the rest of my lil family :D

the jamminators seem awesome! Especially like the spatula bling!

And "hoot", your owl of wisdom, is adorable!

Wow the food from that South African booth looks yummy.

Hoot is just adorable!

Spatula bling? That is just so perfectly awesome. I love it.

I can't wait for the day when I can try F&W - one day.

I love Epcot, too !! I mean, what is not to love about it ??

We had an empty water bottle when we went to Club Cool and we filled it up with the Chine soda for DD. Breakin'the law .... We used the little cups to fill it up, we didn't stick the used bottle in there. And I tried Beverly and I gotta say, it wasn't as awful as people say it is. Not the best taste mind you, but not too bad.

Love your little owl !! He's cute. I would love to see your DF's poster !!

Exactly!!!

Ooooooh you troublemakers!!!

I think I tried the Beverly awhile back, it just tastes chemical-y to me!

It's a t-shirt actually...I thought I had a picture of it here, but I can't seem to find it now. Will post one when I can find the shirt!

Nice to meet you, Stringbean's parents! :wave2:

The food looks so good! Hahah aww, your little Hoot is precious! :goodvibes

Um, why have I never witnessed chefs rapping? I think I need to re-examine my life...

The ME video...I can't even...it gets me EVERY. TIME.

It really was randomly weight!

Hahahahaha nope, we haven't gone in quite that direction with our decorating!!! :lmao:

LOL I didn't even realize it until I looked at the picture later!

:headache: I really was thinking of Cranium Command...no idea why Food Rocks jumped in there!!! Whoops!!

Who DOESN'T love Epcot??? I love it too!!! Especially with F&W going on!

Thanks for sharing the South African food. We didn't get any food there on our trip this time, but it looks yummy!

We didn't make it over there. The girls would have enjoyed seeing the displays.

Hahaha possibly!! It was a very cute unexpected gift! :goodvibes

It was a bit out of the way, I can see how it was easily missed!

OMG, HOW did I miss that spinach/cheese paneer thingie?!?! AND the chocolate? This is why I love WDW though, you can go and still miss enough that you always need to go back! ;) Rey had that brat thing and he really liked it! :thumbsup2

I feel the same way, there's ALWAYS something that we've missed!! The bratwurst was really good!!

Hey this is a shot in the dark, but I'm sensing that you guys seriously love EPCOT. :rotfl:

Hello Stringbean's parents!

Sounds like a successful F&W mission! The chocolate sculptures in the festival center are pretty cool!

Glad Wingnut got his shirt-and a present for you. Smart man. :goodvibes

I can't even imagine park touring with someone who didn't like Epcot!!! :scared1:

They are a really fun act - and the spatula bling was hilarious!!

Wow the food from that South African booth looks yummy.

Hoot is just adorable!

Spatula bling? That is just so perfectly awesome. I love it.

It was REALLY good!!! A great booth for our first F&W experience!

Hahaha I know, right?? It was amazing!

Hello parents!
Mmmm love all the food and wine festival samples!

I loved them too...MANY more to come!!! :thumbsup2

THAT FILET FROM SOUTH AFRICA. Oh good lord. I just hate my life cause I'm not at the Food and Wine Festival right now. That was one of my favorite things. Good call getting two. Sharing is not an option.

You're reallyreally lucky, just saying. Cause I need a fiance who buys me tiny owls in Epcot. Some women like diamonds but I just want little things from WS gift shops.

What day was this again? I'm looking for myself in the bg of your photos. haha.

Can I just say that I have never been to the Festival Center and that is fine b/c my heart is just still very sore over the complete deletion of the Wonders of Life pavilion. EFF THAT.

Sara! Thanks for the introduction to your parents. Did they pass on their love of WDW to you or did you infect them with this incurable disorder?? :rolleyes1

You know.. I've heard that Epcot is your favorite park! :lmao:

One day.. I will make it to F&W (says holding up a sausage like Scarlett at Tara!) The snack size portions look so perfect.

Hoot is pretty cute...I wonder if he can perch on 'planty' and keep each other company?

Love Hoot, he's adorable! I had forgotten your folks were along for this trip. Very cool!

I am totally with you on your love of Epcot! Best place in the world. Wish I were there now. Torches lit... waiting for Illuminations.... :cloud9:
