Found a Deal on Disney Gift Cards!

I just got $4500 worth of Disney gift cards for $3750!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited that I'm giggling! Cars Land, here we come!!!!!!!!

The inlaws just picked up a bunch of Disney GC for us and for them. I have a stack of $50 cards from Target from when I had a rx promotion, but these are way better--not only is the discount better, but one $300 card is just easier to deal with than 6 $50 cards.

I asked MIL what other kinds of cards they carry. She said mostly restaurant ones, but also Best Buy and Amazon. She said she didn't think the HEB she went to had either Target or Toys R Us cards.

Does anyone know if any HEB stores (around San Antonio) carry either Target or Toys R Us cards?

And also, thanks to those who posted about this deal!

I'll try to check tomorrow. I need to go pick up a few more myself.

Went back to our HEB & got enough to pay off our cruise.
$1500 worth of gift cards for $1250. That is really an awesome deal...a quick $250 off our cruise!

I haven't seen tru or target cards but I have bought southwest, amazon, and several different eateries. They also have retail stores like old navy, Gymboree, the children's place, etc.

I've bought over $2k in gift cards. With HEB rewards, 6 Hilton points/$ on my credit card, and the coupon, I'm definitely making the most of this promo!

I'm just back from HEB and the same at mine. No TRU, Target, etc.. I was considering Amazon but I might spend $300 there in a year so not sure I want to tie up that much. I bought another $300 for Disney then $250 for Disney and $50 for Joe's Crab Shack. My husband loves that place and I was considering a GC for there anyhow so now I can look at it as a "free" $50 GC. :cool1: They have lots of restaurants.
I should now have enough to cover my hotel and all food for my February trip and maybe a little left over for souvenirs!
Oh, and there were only a few coupons left today. I looked at the front of the store where the rack will all the store coupons is and I did not see any. The deal is good until the 4th. Does HEB put out more for this kind of thing or when the coupons are gone the deal is gone?

ETA, I have never heard of HEB rewards. Is that only for some HEBs? I have lived here for a year and used to live in San Angelo more or less only shop at HEB.

Is there anyway to get these deals on the WEB? Being from Canada they dont sell Disney Cards at Bestbuy.

We were a test market several years ago. They still do it here but I'm not sure it's ever expanded outside of this area.

I Googled it earlier and it said Waco HEB. At least I know I'm not missing out on something!

Just make sure to always check H-E-B in the months preceding a Disney vacation. They regularly have 15% or more discounts on gift cards, including Disney. December 2010, April 2012, July 2012, November/December 2012, to name a few. Walking past the gift card kiosk has become as essential as walking to the milk on my grocery store visits. I can almost count on it as far as my Disney budgeting.

I've asked managers before, and they've said they can print out new Yellow coupons.

One thing that made me nervous is the coupon listed the excluded ones like Visa Gift Cards, but it also said theme parks! But the coupon worked for all of my Disney gift cards. Do you think the exclusion was referring to the Disney cards???

This was the first time I took advantage of it, and I figured it may be the last when I saw that.

Did it say that on anyone else's???

The Disney exclusion is for the theme park cards which give you like 3 days at DL for $199 or something like that. The regular Disney cards are considered 'entertainment cards'.
