thinking we're just going to pack cereal to have in the room before we head ot for the day (we are big breakfast people). are there kitchen basics in the little mermaid rooms????

The LM section is standard rooms, not suites, so no kitchenette or supplies.

You'll need to bring some bowls and spoons too.
And beware, a lot of the refrigerators at the Value resorts don't seem to get cold enough to safely cool milk. They are more like coolers than fridges.

It's not just the values that have issues with the frigdes not getting really cold. Anytime the room fridge is inside of a cabinet, there is not enough air flow for the fridge to be efficient. We have gotten around this by leaving the cabinet door open anytime we are not actively milling around the room. When we leave for the parks or are sleeping, we leave it open all the way. We packed our fridge with warm water bottles, left for the day and when we came back they were ICE cold!:cool1:

great tip!!!! we noticed milk going bad in our fridge on a cruise last year. i'll be it was because it was enclosed in a cabinet! thanks!

I thought the 'fridges' on the ships were just coolers, not truly fridges. I had been told not to keep anything in them that had to be truly cold.

Are the small fridges large enough for a gallon of milk or should we plan to buy 1/2 gallons and store on their sides?

great tips about leaving the cabinet door open...thanks!

That's a great tip! Did Mousekeeping not close the cabinet when they were in the room?
