Fast pass test and Magical Express...

I recieved the email about an hour ago and made my selections for Magic Kingdom on the 14th and Hollywood Studios on the 15th.

We are using a travel agent but the email came directly to me. I was worried that perhaps the cards would be mailed to the travel agent and since she still hasn't sent us our cruise documents or magical express packet and that we would not get the passes in time but you can pick them up at the Magical Express Desk or at City Hall.

The dates worked in perfectly with the plan we already had. We are doing the Fantasmic Lunch package and have a Toy Story Mania fastpass for 3:00. Could not have worked about better. I was jumping around and screaming - my kids thought I was crazy!
 
I also got the email about an hour ago & now have FP for MK & DHS for 12/12 & 12/13 yay! And believe it or not, we didn't even pick TSM - we don't like that ride!

I'm most exited about the preferred viewing area for Wishes!
 


This has probably been asked and answered a dizzy times....but what us fast pass plus? How will it work?? Will it be an additional cost?

For those who did not receive the e-mail, like myself, when everyone else in the connected parties DID receive it.......inhale, exhale :-) You can go to the site mentioned a couple pages back & enter your reservation #, but not your resort reservation #, the reservation # next to your name on your ME booklet voucher. Ours is an 8 or 9 # long beginning with a 4. And voila!!!! Worked for me.
 
I got my invite e-mailed to me today. We are going Dec. 13 - 17. Maybe I will actually get to ride TSM this time! Never could the last times with the wait times and 3 little ones along. This trip is just me and the hubby!
 
My invite came today--problem is that is does not list all in my party-I did call the # they list if you have ? so hopefully it will be fixed-It is an interesting concept as they will send a card in the mail which will be your fastpass. You can also change your choices if you want. 9 days!!!!:cool1:
 
We got the email today and I just got done making our picks. Most excited for preferred viewing for Electric Parade and Wishes.

I received and invitation by email this evening also. However, it was addressed to my son, who is taking Magical Express the day after WE arrive.(Darn exams!) I was so excited. Unfortunately others who were on the same reservation would be included. I assumed they were speaking of the resort reservation and not magical express reservation. I was wrong. Since he will be the only one using this service the rest of us can't join in the testing therefore he will not be doing it solo!
 
If you don't get an email invite but,arrive and use m.e then you will be,able to use the kiosk at the airport before boarding the bus, my mom and I arrive on the 12, I got my email she hasn't yet so I called to find out why not,
 
Here is my question for those that were selected.

Did you get a fastpass+ for each person LISTED in your party or a certain amount of guests?

I am wondering if you have to list each person separately or just say how many for each party?

Certain people in our party would rather do splash mountain and other would rather not, but still like to use the feature to do big thunder.

You can make choices for each person separately if you want.

i am guessing this DHS December fast pass plus works the same for when i did it for MK Sept 24th.

The card i received covered the entire party i was with.
(those on my booking reservation that is)

you should have a link from the email that gives you the contact number to call.
also, if it is done like in the past months, CM's at guest service in dhs, will be able to help you on the day you use the fast pass plus.

i had the option to change the 4 rides/shows/parades that were listed in my email.
i received a preset time/date for 3 rides and 1 parade at MK.

We were originally scheduled to arrive on the 10th but added another day on the front, so we will get there on the 9th
 
Once you make your ressies do you get an email? How will you prove your FP to the CM's at the rides?
 
We got a confirmation email after I made our choices. It states that the passes will be mailed via USPS.

I guess I am one of the unlucky ones...

I didn't get an e-mail so I entered my info on that site for my dec 8th-dec 14th stay....
