I also didn't know Rossi was in the military, but it fits.

I remember now the episode where Rossi mentioned he was in the marines. It was the one where he goes back to his hometown in Long Island. He had loved this girl since he was a kid. They were best friends. And she was the love of his life. But, he said he joined the marines, then afterwards started working for the FBI and too much time went by and he never went back for her and she ended up marrying some old judge who turned out to be an unsub who ordered hits on several people before he died of cancer. She had died 5 years earlier. I think it was a car accident.

They really are shooting in some places of Santa Monica. I recognize some of those back streets that Morgan was running around in, looking for the unsub. (Or they certainly look authentic enough to be Santa Monica.)

I thought you all might get a kick out of this........ My brother lives in California. Long story short, he is in AA and his sponsor has been really good to him. Well, his sponsor has a side job as an actor. He thought my brother, Jeff, would make a great actor. So he introduced him to his agent. Well, Jeff has been an extra in a few shows so far (Bones, Vegas, Dexter..). Anyway, I told him how I love CM. So he called his agent to see about getting on the show. The agent tells him that there is a part he can try out for. Here's the catch: you have to bring your own sadomasochistic equipment with you to the audition.......Unfortunately, my brother isn't into that kind of thing, so no part this time.
