How hard is it to get in here for lunch? Were going in January MLK week and was wondering if we would be able to get in for Lunch or should we not count on it.

Since it's not Officially Really Open yet, I don't think anyone really knows. Anyone who's been inside BOG at this point has been there as part of previews/"dress rehearsals"/etc.

Someone else can confirm, but I think 11/19 is still the date to open full-time, with 12/6 as the official grand opening of New Fantasyland. We should start hearing some experiences around then. I'm eager to try lunch here.

Looking forward to reading the reviews. Looked at the menu recently and it looks good! DH and I are hoping to try it on our upcoming trip:)

I would just plan on eating lunch there as soon as they open if you really want to try it. I don't think it will be hard to get in with all the seating but you will have plenty of people not used to ordering from the kiosk that may take some additional time to move along.

We tried it last weekend during the AP preview and loved it. It was definately the better QS meal we have had at MK.

It's easy at the moment, but it's not officially open yet. We had to wait in a line for about 10 mins.

Hoping it continues to easily accommodate many people efficiently and the lines stay short! We are planning a lunch there in just a few weeks!

We were lucky enough to be there on a soft opening day last week!! We didn't wait at all to order, however our Rose wasn't working and they couldn't find us. But we didn't even notice as we were looking around the castle taking pics!! They finally found us and our food was hot and fresh! I hope the food and service is just as good once they actually open!!

We're so excited to be eating here next month. We had snagged reservations for dinner but after reading reviews for lunch, we are now looking forward to this also!

Here now. Waited only 15 min. for BOG lunch - braised pork delicious!! Was able to walk around the complete restaurant - real class!! Loved it, was seasoned just perfectly.

We had lunch there on Monday. The line was all the way across the bridge and to the pathway. It took about 25 min. to order. After we found a table, it took abotu 5-10 mine for our food to arrive. Overall, the food was really good. I particulary enjoyed the french onion soup and the ham and cheese sandwich. The steak sandwich was dry. The cupcakes were wonderful. All three rooms were open for seating, and there was plenty of seating avaliable.

Wow, I'm surprised it wasn't worse - what time did you both go? I imagine the 'go early or go late' rule applies?

Actually we were there Tues. 11/27 at 11:30AM :) Decided to check it out (we had just arrived) and couldn't believe it took only 15 min. The line was at the end of the bridge, but this can be very misleading as it a relatively large path and the people were not packed in, just loosely in line. We were pleasantly surprised and pleased with out *complete* experience. :thumbsup2

Plan to go back again at least once more in our trip (10 days). The food was wonderful! No complaints here;)

Noticed the line again today at various times and it always seemed to stay right at the end of the bridge!!!

We were there for lunch at 1 PM on 11/23 - very busy day at MK, but took only 20 min to get to the door at BOG (the line was also at the end of the bridge), 5 more min inside to get to the kiosk, 5 min to order (kids had a great time playing with food pictures on the ordering screen), and 5-10 min for the food to arrive at the table. Overall very smooth process - I was also very surprised that we were done with the whole meal in a little over an hour (we took couple extra minutes to relax and see all the rooms). Did not feel crowded at all inside, we had no problems finding seats for 6 in any of the 3 rooms. Seems like it is not worth spending excessive amount of time stalking website to get ADR for dinner that is impossible to get when you can have great experience at lunch with reasonable wait and no need to carry your own food to the table. Wish I new that before our visit!

I have seen pictures and the line looks very very long, like this picture I saw this morning: http://twitter.com/wdwmagic/status/274187503550988288/photo/1

I am curious, is this what your lines looked like? Because if I saw this line I would probably keep walking. But if this line is 15-20 minutes, it might be worth it. Thanks.

That's what the line looked like on Monday. Took about 30 min. To get inside. Braised pork = delicious! Steak sandwich = horrible! Turkey and ham sandwiches = very good.

Beautiful inside ... worth the wait!

The line on Monday for us (we got in line between 11:20 and 11:30) was like this. It took about 20-25 min. to get in the door and order. The food came 5-10 min. after we found a table and sat down.

I totally agree. We liked the french onion soup. The ham sandwiches are good. The cupcakes are wonderful. the steak sanwich is terrible and very dry.

We were there on Monday 11/27 they said it was a 25 min wait and it took 15 mins. CM's were really good about keeping the line moving by telling people to fill in all the available space. The longest wait was ordering. We found a table in the Beast's room and by the time I got the drinks our food was at the table. I had the steak sandwich(meat was too tough) and the french onion soup; DH had the Braised pork with mashed potatoes and veggies. I would try something differernt next time around
