What is the worst roller coaster you ever rode

Hey there. Here's a question for ya. What was the worst Roller Coaster you ever rode on. For me it was the Son of Beast at Kings Island in Ohio. I blacked out twice on that ride, plus. The car was way too tight no leg room at all

I think Son of the Beast is now closed. The one I really couldn't stand was the Beast. It was too rough, slammed my head around, and I ended up with a nasty headache for hours afterward. I stopped riding it years ago. :faint:
Now, Diamondback (also a KI ride) is amazing. So smooth and an absolute blast if you let go of your fear, stop holding on, and allow g-forces and gravity to lift you in and out of your seat on all the hills. :cheer2:

The one at the NY NY Hotel in Las Vegas, we were bounced around like rag dolls.

At Carowinds in NC there is a wooden coaster called called "The Hurler". I swear it feels like my insides are being rearranged while that thing flings me around.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg had built a coaster called Drachenfire at one time. I LOVE coasters, but that was one that I thought might genuinely injure me. I rode it alone, so nobody to compare notes with. I thought maybe it was just me. Next time we were there, it was gone. Evidently, it wasn't just me!

Most recently...Hersheypark built a new coaster called Sky Rush. It has the potential to be the BEST coaster ever. However, there was something seriously wrong with the restraint system. I thought my thighs would snap, no lie. The bar came down in the center of my thigh. The minimal restraint is cool because the airtime is amazing. You can only hold on to your lap bar, and there lies part of the problem. The placement of the bar along with the fact that it TIGHTENED through the course of the ride (due to holding on to it) meant that every time I got air, I would be forced UP while being VERY tightly gripped DOWN mid-thigh. I was seriously afraid my legs would break (trust me, I'm not a whiner about coasters either!) By the end of the ride, my legs were vice gripped. I really hope they fix the restraints on that one because the coaster itself is incredible.

I really hate the botomless one at Busch Gardens in Tampa. Don't remember the name but I always feel sick after riding.

Also not a fan of wooden roller coasters.

Montu... Feet dangling, track above your head?
(This one makes me sick too)
Sheikra... Floorless with a bottom track.
(Very smooth)

I had bruises on the inside of my arms from my wrists to my armpits from this stupid ride. Hello, steel rollercoasters should be smooth!!

The worst, however, was that Knott's Berry Farm monstrosity... I think it's "Ghost Rider" or something like that. I literally felt like I had been mugged once I got off the ride. Like, someone had punched me in the stomach dozens of times.

I hate wooden coasters. :P

I haven't set my butt down on that thing in years for that very reason. The last time I rode it I ended up with a migraine about 30 minutes later. Coincidence? Maybe. But I doubt it, with the way that thing threw me around.

Almost as bad is Thunder Road, also at Carowinds. I've only really noticed it last year and this, but it is also getting to be a very rough ride, and I do not enjoy it much anymore. By the end of summer, even my kids had enough of it.

I have no problem w/most modern roller coasters, but I HAVE to have the head/neck support, or else I end up like a PP said w/a massive headache for 2 hours. I think my favorites are Alpengeist in Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, and Expedition Everest.

The Beast at King's Island was the worst for me.

We live very close to Kings Island. Son of Beast was actually demolished recently after being permanently closed in 2009 after someone said they suffered head injuries while riding it.

Hercules at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom was a very rough wooden coaster. It was closed & dismantled in 2003 due to low ridership.

Mean Streak at Cedar Point

Seems like everyone's worst coasters has a theme -- wooden coasters are so much rougher than steel.

I agree about Mean Streak -- I was so sick after that ride...I didn't go on another ride for the next 2 days at Cedar Point.

I also felt sick after Expedition Everest....I think if my head/neck gets too jerked around, I get very nauseous.

I don't remember the name, but it was a wooden coaster @ Six Flags Georgia, I seriously felt like my neck was going to break!
