We've eaten there multiple times (all on one trip - Our first with kids) and found nothing wrong with it. I got the pizzette once, and the chicken parm, and enjoyed them both.
We never went back the second or third trips, and don't plan on going back on the next trip, but not because its "bad" by any means, but its not really "special".
If your worried about it, maybe try for ressies at BOG or any of the the monorail resports. Good luck!!!

I thought it was just fine. We just walked up in February and were seated within 10 minutes or so. It was a nice atmosphere and the food was just fine.

I don't put much stock into the majority of reviews. Unless they say why something was bad, I just ignore it. People have so many different opinions on food and expectations. Give it a go!

We also struggled about eating there on our last trip--but we booked anyway and we loved it. We had 13 on the trip with us and everyone was very happy with service and food! I do remember though that we had a long wait even though we did have an ADR.

Thanks. I have free dinning so if it is bad then i will have not spent money on it. I was thinking about the spagattie and meat balls yum?

I've eaten here twice, once in 2011 & once this year.

The first meal I ate here I didn't enjoy, I had the meatballs & I just didn't like them. Hard to say if they were bad or I just didn't like the taste, I usually do like meatballs but these might have been different to what I am used to. That time everybody else in the group enjoyed their food.

This year however I opted for the steak, found it to be very tasty & I enjoyed the meal very much. However; 2 of the 4 didn't enjoy their meal. They both had the same entrees as in 2011 & said that they didn't feel it was as good. I believe one was a pasta dish & the other the chicken parmigiana.

The atmosphere is excellent, it's very cute & it's always jammed for bookings (which I think was more to do with so few TS places in MK). I'd eat here again personally, but it's been removed from the pool of acceptable dining locations by popular choice.

Of the 4 members of the family, 2 wouldn't recommend this place, 1 neutral & 1 would recommend.

I ate there a few years ago (2009?) and thought it was good. Nothing incredible though nothing to complain about either.

This is my thought on Tony's. Its certainly worth a shot. As far as MK restaurants are concerned, with the exception of BOG(which I have yet to try), I don't find any of them to be knock your socks off great. All good but nothing fantastic. Just my opinion.
We do eat at CP each time, usually twice, but thats for the atmosphere :)

I was there a few weeks ago. I loved the butternut squash soup so much we added it to our thanksgiving meal! I also had the meatball sandwich. It was fine but nothing special. I ate it all and we enjoyed the view out the window of the happenings on Main Street. Being next to the train station, it was great to be able to be across park and then hop on the train and make our reservation.

I would say go and enjoy and don't worry about it. I don't think the food is bad--I think it is not as great a value and that is what bothers people.when you are paying Disney prices and you are getting food that is "fine" it seems like your getting ripped off. Yes, it's overpriced, but only par for the course at Disney, not something bad or outrageous.

We might go again but it's not on the must do list.

NOTE: Not something to write home about. Meat dishes are
average and Italian entrées are akin to CHEF-BOY-AR-DEE; well,
using CHEF-BOY-AR-DEE could be considered an insult to that
famous Cleveland, Ohio chef. The sauce may be tomato sauce,
but it is definitely not a marinara. The appetizers are average.
In a pinch, Tony's will do, but there are far better choices. On
the plus side, the desserts are simple, but pretty good. Hard
to justify going the first time, let alone going back.

Ate there last month. I had the lamb shank, he had the chicken parm. Perfectly adequate.

the spaghetti and meatballs are HORRENDOUS! Worst we ever tasted. Ever. The chicken parm was pretty bad too. I would avoid this place at all cost. It was the worst meal we ever had. I love the movie, but even the atmosphere did nothing for me. it was cold and uninviting.

If you want to go to any particular restaurant, then just go. Everyone is happy to give you their opinion, but don't forget that it is JUST THEIR opinion. Everyone has different tastes and preferences, so what is fabulous to one diner is gawdawful to another and it's quite likely that neither of these will reflect your opinion.

FWIW, we've eaten there a couple of times. Would definitely not call it dining. The service was slow, the entree's were mediocre, and as with all things Disney, the prices were excessive for what you got. Not the worst place we've eaten at, but there are better choices in MK IMO.

But as I said, if you think you want to eat there, then just go for it.

This was a terrible experience for us. Food was awful. I had spaghetti and meatballs, my husband had chicken parm. Food was bad, and expensive. Will not ever go back.

Tony's is one of the worst restaurants in Disney. It earned three strikes after three tries. Italian food is not that hard to get right but for some reason this challenges the chefs consistently.

I don't go to Italian restaurants to eat steak. Maybe the steak is okay, but there are much better options.

Try Liberty Tree or Be Our Guest. The MK leaves a lot to be desired for table service dining. Head to the monorail and wat at a hotel!

Is Mama Melrose better?

We ate dinner there a year ago and loved it. My husband has food allergies to dairy and black pepper and the chef made up spaghetti and meatballs special for him and he said it was very good. The rest of us also had spaghetti and meatballs and it was pretty good.

I have eaten here multiple times, and never had a bad meal. It's not gourmet, but decent. Now I also don't go in expecting Narcoose's or California Grill, either.

In August, my lasanga was delicious...my DM and DH were pleased with their chicken parmesaen, and my DH had the fail safe pasta with garlic and butter. The green apple sorbet for dessert was heavenly!
