MVMCP 2012 Official Information

Okay.. I purchased tickets on Friday for 12/6 and didn't receive a confirmation email but the charge is on my credit card. All I can find is where to order the tickets on line... does anyone have a phone number I can call?

I am so excited my family and I will be attending our first MVMCP on November 27th! :woohoo: I am trying to come up with a plan for the night. I am thinking that we will probably not focus on character meets. We would like to see as many shows as possible. What time and where should we find a spot to watch Wishes. I was thinking maybe we could find one spot to watch Wishes, then the Castle stage show, and the second parade (maybe in front of Casey's?). Not sure if that would be too far back to see the castle show though. We'd really like to see it snow on Main Street. Does that only happen during the parade? I do know that we will be arriving around 4pm and will eat a quick service meal before the party starts. Thanks for your help! :)

Would like to hear the answer too. I think the Casey's is too far to view the show...at least to hear...but could be wrong. We plan to stake a spot on the hub to see all three in succession.

As for snow my u dear standing is it snows off and on throughout the night on Main Street.

Have fun. We have similar plans but I have to do the first parade due to little kids!

Casey's is pretty far back to watch the castle stage show. It's hard to find one spot but casey's would be good for most everything else. We always watch wishes and the parade from frontierland for less crowds

Are there maps/schedules to get ahead of the parties so we can plan? Or must we get a map the night of? Also are the characters out the whole time?

We are so excited to be going to MVMCP for the first time. We have tickets for Nov. 29th and Nov. 30th. My thoughts are to see as many characters as we can on Thursday night and then do the shows and parade on Friday night. Does that seem like a good plan. We will be at MK all day Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday so I'm not worried about riding rides during party time.

with a good'plan you can get as many characters as you can. on our visit to mk on a sunday we got fp for'princesses and mickey for 9:40 -10:40
got in line for merida, saw fairy god mother, peter pan, tianan, tinketbelle, vidia. ariel. back to the princesses and mickey on main street and was finished by 10:30

we then headed to frontier land..got fp for btmrr, rode splash saw woody and jesse, got snother fp for splash, rode btmrr, haunted mansion, splash mountain and the time was 12:30 so we headed back to the resort for lunch and a nap

That's such a great idea! Expensive, but brilliant, especially if you want to meet all the characters :thumbsup2

I am still debating attending. My kids are 6 and 2 y.o. I went to MNSSHP last year and my kids were so tired after the fireworks we had to leave. We did not have a plan and rode too many rides ( with no wait) and missed all the shows and dance parties. However we did love the parade and fireworks.

We love Christmas and want to see the parade, the stage shows, and Holiday Wishes but don't know if it is worth the price! I was figuring if we don't attend the party, seeing the fireworks from Polynesian beach or TTC. It is a good chunck of money that can easily be spent elsewhere.

When are you planning on going back to Disney World? I live closer to Disneyland, so my family goes to WDW every two to three years. So, I would definitely attend MVMCP because the experience will be different as my kids get older.

I live in Canada so I don't know when I will get to go back around Christmas time again. The only reason I could go during this time is because my oldest son is in kindergarten and not a big deal for him to miss a week of school. I know what you mean about the experience being different as your kids get older!

Is anyone going to the party that doesn't collect SOTMK and would be willing to get me 2? They are given out one per ticket only during the party at the firehouse.

Thank you

Hi, I'm new here, but have read the boards for years, this question is for Chesire figment. Can you confirm weather or not I actually have to buy the military ticket before midnight the night before. My daughter and I will be coming in late on the 28th and would like to go to the party on the 29th, but I am seeing conflicting responses as to weather I will be able to get the discounted price on the morning of the 29th. Or for that matter anyone else who has bought military tickets for a party on the day of did you get the discounted price? thanks

You will be able to get tickets the day of for the military rate party days. Even if the party is sold out they will sell the military tickets.

I know I'm not chesire but I'm a military spouse & travel agent to I try to stay up to date. Militarydisneytips.com is a great resource!

Does anyone know when the last party dates sold out last year and how many of the last parties sold out? I am looking at going Dec 16 and 18 but curious on if there is any way I can wait until Dec 3rd to purchase tickets as that is when my credit card rolls over so I wouldn't have to pay the bill until the end of January. I know its a risk but just curious what previous history of sell outs were to determine if I want to take the risk or not. Thanks :)

thank you, I knew some one would be able to answer my question concerning the military MVMCP tickets.

Have the last few parties sold out? Since the first 4 or so did, just wondering what we are in for in 2 weeks.
