i_heart - I just ready your CL split stay mini review. Well I am happy we haven't stayed CL at Dis yet and shouldn't be too disappointed with the CR CL Besides not having good to go cups, how was the coffee in the CL? I usually bring my travel Keurig but won't schlep it if the coffee is decent. I am also happy about not having to bring milk and juice boxes with me! Oh and one more question, did they have plastic bottles of water to take with us or sold I just bring my own like I usually do?

My youngest son (5) is terrible with his toys. We gave him a DSi for his birthday. One night he decided that it was dirty and put it in the tub with him He said it needed a bath! If Jesse was a girl, there would be no way he would have an AG doll...noooo way!

IIRC, they have a nespresso machine. Not the one that you just push a button, but the one where you add pods and can add fresh steamed milk, etc. I'm not super picky about coffee, so I'm sure I thought it was good.

They did have water bottles, but you had to ask for them and they were the little (8 oz?) ones.

I's funny, I had to rack my brain to think of any negatives about CR CL. I totally forgot about the stuff that I didn't like, and I can't wait to do it again. Honestly, I think that one bad CM put a damper on our stay and if not for that, I wouldn't have even noticed any other negatives.

Also, just so you know, the Atrium Club is tied with RPC as my kiddos favorite lounge. I think you will love it!

So what was Disney thinking???? They decided to open the ADRs for the the January Dessert Parties in the afternoon of Black Friday?!?! But yes I did manage to get reservations for the RC trip!!!

"Whoops" is right! And yes...we laugh now.And actually, we weren't surprised that he tore it up....that's true Jesse fashion! When we bought the thing, Bill and I both said in unison "wonder how long this will last??" His birthday was in April, and this happened in June. He learned his lesson very quickly....while Faith plays her Leapster and Stephen plays his PS3, Jesse has nothing. Santa is actually bringing him another one for Christmas

I've booked my hubby's British cousins holiday....,11 nights in a Savanah View Bunk bed room on the DLX ddp! I hope his 6' 16 yo son fits in those bunks! Our cousin. Has decided that he needs to take a day and go to Universal to see HP too he doesnt care about the price.....just said book it! So I gave him undercover tourists website to order a one day ticket.

I never thought booking 11 days of deluxe dining would be so hard....but boy it was a challenge!

Yes I loved seeing those pictures of Faith and her doll on your TR! Maybe you inspired me a wee bit....no I am super excited and glad that I ordered them! I did order the look a like ones, not the ones that have names. So when we do our tentatively planned summer trip to Boston, we can visit the AG store there too! Man I am a sap!

I hope my RC peeps had a lovely Thanksgiving.

Mine? Not so great. Next year I'm skipping the IL's, DH can go alone if he wants. if my kids are told they are too picky and should eat more food one more time it won't be pretty.

I would totally skip the inlaws next year...for EVERYONE's mental health!

We had a nice Thanksgiving, just the four of us. My DD's cooked and my DH cleaned up. MY younger DD went back to NYC last night, she had to work today and my older DD is flying back to CA early tomorrow morning. It was nice to have them home

Today, we woke up and pulled out all of the Christmas decorations!!! The tree is up and DH did his best Clark Griswold impression with the Christmas lights outside...but our display came out great!

For the first time ever, I am about 85% done shopping before December!!! I have a few small items to purchase but all the big purchases have been made. Sooooooooo excited!!! LOVE Christmas!!!

We also decorated Candace!!! And I am done with the shopping...except for DS4, who breaks EVERYTHING

uld book CL and cancel the wishes dessert party since we could just watch wishes from the lounge balcony. I am sure even with the party and a couple of breakfasts and snacks we would do better money wise not changing to CL, but I am thinking of the convenience of watching the fireworks with tired cranky kids and not having fight the crowds back out of MK after the dessert party.

Considering we are supposed to be cutting back I am having a hard time justifying it, but DH told me to do whatever I wanted.

Nice change.....hard to go back to non CL...but Melissa...you all deserve it, and it'll be a much better view than from Tomorrowland Terrace...IMHO

Jeanette – I am sorry DH was so stressed with DS and it is putting a crimp in your Jan plans Yep, we need to count our blessings each and every day, no matter how long or hard those days are. You are an amazing woman being able to help so many!

Unfortunately this January..I can't meet my RC gals....BUT...
DH and I talked about our Summer trip today! He brought it up, and we kinda went back and forth about things we need, house stuff, car...etc

I laid it on the line...we ARE going on vacation, and I will keep costs reasonable. We ARE going to Disney! And we ARE staying at the GF

I would've liked to book the Poly or WL, BUT the discount I have is only GF, BC or YC..out of those choices...with the new pool, splash area, CS, shops, monorail and boat to MK....GF for sure...Standard View at GF is WAAAYYY prettier than YC/BC...he agreed with me, he asked that I don't upgrade to CL. And I understand, we do not get our money's worth at all...with the fact our discount is over 40%...I am going to try very hard not to change...doubtful I could ever beat this rate. It's only for GV. With over 8 months...I can afford this trip (and a Dec. 2013 Grannie trip ) I am so glad I spoke openly with DH, because HRH and I are already planning a trip to the new Spa

I know, my heart is pulling me back to the Poly....and DH just found out he is getting a nice bonus at the end of the year. Yikes...who knows.

My crazy story...DS was born right after my 17th birthday..DH and I struggled to concieve a second child once the time was right..2 losses, I had given up...then came DS11...then came another loss then HRH...then DD6, and 5....(they are 11 months apart) then on BCP DS4

We never planned such a big family, we were done after 3...but now I am a Mommy to six. It's not easy, what I am saying is it's not for everyone..but despite planning, and not planning...things happen. And it sounds like no matter what..your family is and will always be perfect for you..no matter what

In fact, we had given up when I found out I was pregnant with her

Even better...airfare for us for the weekend we would probably go...6/6-6/9 is only $790 for the four of us!!!!

I think we will probably do a value, as we have no intention of being in the room much.....this trip will basically cost us about $1250 for 3 nights/4 days....

We have to check on a few work dates for conflicts, but I think we are gonna book this puppy!!!

Hello all!! It's been a while since I've posted on the RC threads, and I really thought I had gotten over resort changing. We went to WDW in June and stayed at the Pop Century. I finally convinced the DH to go back in June 2013 and to book an Arusha view room at the AKL. I'm just worried about the cost, and if we will really spend enough time on the balcony to warrant the extra cost. Plus,if they have any discounts that view/resort combo probably won't be included. Now I can't stop thinking about where we should stay if I need to change, and if I should go ahead and change. I know that mousesavers has a list of discounts offered in the past, but I don't think they include the resort/view that qualified for that discount. Anyone, know if you can find that information any where? I'm thinking if I do I would either change to the WL or CSR. I swear the best and worst thing about WDW is all the resort options. It's like they are making it hard on purpose just to mess with our heads!!
