Morning! I guess we are all pretty busy around here! I have a busy day today. Lots of appointments.

I have to go shopping and mail a package. Looks like rain:cheer2:

Have a good day Alison. Oh teenagers, they do like candy. I think they sell those little bars in packs at dollar tree.

I've already got candy for everyone. Strange ones, Sugar Daddy's, Lemonheads, Smarties.

The nurses suggested lip gloss for the girls, still not sure on the bots. Fran suggested tools, but what fun is that on the ship!

Just a drive by since I brought home work.:rolleyes2 Only one more work day!!!

Did my shopping tonight, our turkey got a short pardon (he's still walking around out back) as my sisters begged for chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy for Thanksgiving instead of the normal routine. Seems kind of weird. Our kids are heading to their in-laws so it's basically my Dad and my sister's family for dinner on Thursday.

I saw your turkey on FB. Were you really going to eat him for dinner? I know you live in the boonies, do you have a farm?

We're on 18 acres, not quite what I'd call a farm (too small). We have our place planted for hay and our neighbor has a turkey farm so he sent about 14 to our place to finish them. We're keeping 2 and the rest go to other people. I'd planned on eating one for dinner, but now he's going in the freezer until X-mas. Our kids raised pigs and sheep for 4-H and FFA projects.

The turkeys you get at the store look at overgrown chickens to us, since our turkeys are usually 28 - 40#. The 40 pounder bent my oven rack and I have an extra large stove/oven combo.:rotfl2:

Yikes! That's nuts! I bought my first turkey to store for the year. Fran told me to get a big one. The largest I found was 15 lbs, beyond that was 25 pounds and there was no way I was getting that one. I can barely lift a 20 pounder out of the oven! I don't want to bend my oven rack! My oven is much smaller since I added the dual oven combo.

Besides with only two of us, even with the cats, I don't know what we would do with all that meat!

Morning.

Angela - Have a great holiday!

Alison - Happy last minute packing and finishing off the FEs.

Jo - Hope normal life has settled down.

Dana - Hope you are well.

Bret - I'm guessing that you're in basketball heaven!

Everyone else -
