Anyone know how much the light up toys are?

We know DS2 is going to end up wanting (and getting) a light up toy after dark at the parks. When we went to Disney on Ice recently, I nearly choked when they wanted $23 for the light up toy there. So, now we are just trying to be prepared and brace for impact. I know that they sell different toys so if you can tell me how you paid for a toy or even a price range I would really appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

The light up spinney characters are $15.00 a piece. That is the only thing my kids every want so I only know the price of them.

I want to say the spinner was 15

Do you have a Wallgreens drug store near you? They ALWAYS have light up - spin toys JUST LIKE the ones in Disney but only $4.99! I always buy a new one at the drug store before we head down, hide it and give it to DD when we are about to watch a parade! SO MUCH cheaper than the ones there BUT just as cute!!!

Yes, I think it was 15.00 when we went in Feb 2011- Didnt get one this last time bc DS never really played with the first one! They are cute but way overpriced!

I paid $15 for the sorcerer Mickey spinning head thing. I want to say I paid between $10-13 for the multi-light sword, it was cheaper than the spinning Mickey but I can't remember the exact amount.

I got the spinning Mickey sorcerer one online at the Disney store when they had an extra % off Disney Parks items. I want to say I paid about $10 and I bought one for each of my boys. They will be pulled out at the parks as a surprise.

I think it was $12 for the sword....

Thanks for posting this. I'm bringing glow sticks and such, but I plan to buy the light up toys for my pair. When we went to Disney on Ice I did buy some $5 ones at a store and brought them, but, for Disneyworld I'm ready for the splurge. Glad they aren't as crazy expensive as those at Disney on Ice.

yes, I was quite surprised that the light up toys at WDW were cheaper than the ones at Disney on Ice. We bought one at DD's first trip to WDW and then another at Disney on Ice. I couldn't belive the price differnce for such a similiar toy.

We bought some light up fake light sabers for $5.00 but they only lasted a few days once we got home.:lmao:

Check thrift stores! My mom just bought 2 light up light saber things, from WDW, at Goodwill for $0.50 a piece!!! I'm so excited to be hiding these little treasures for my kiddos.:cool1:

I think I saw them for 2/$7 at Walgreens recently! I think I might go get 2 for MVMCP!
