Yep! I do too :goodvibes. I have it on my phone so if I forget room # for parcel deliv etc, I have it.

I do the same thing as I always forget our room number in the beginning of the trip. Hope no one was home when I went to the wrong room last trip and couldn't figure out why the light wouldn't turn green. :scratchin Looked at my phone and oopsie....I was the room next door. :rotfl:

Hi All!!!

I recently changed my April reservation from BC to an AKL - pool view room! :cool1: I'm pretty excited about the change and was just wondering if it makes sense for me to request a room close to the lobby? I'm not 100% sure about the layout of the lodge so would that make sense?

Also, has anyone ever had any issues with noise being TOO close to the lobby? Thanks! :goodvibes

Tracy, I thought I was the only one that did things like that. I had the right room number, but the wrong floor. :rotfl2:

Nope - that's me as well. :goodvibes At least this time I only walked into women's restrooms, the last few trips at least once I walked into the men's :faint:

Ok thanks! And, one more question...are there any pool view rooms that have a partially, obstructed view of the savannah? :confused3

No, I don't think so - maybe the very last room on giraffe trail could get a glimpse of the savanna. Have a look at AKL on the satelite view on Google maps and you can see how the pool view rooms are all around the pool and that there are buildings between the pool and any savanna.

....nope....the rooms directly face the pool. At the end of Zebra Trail you can see some views but those rooms are suites...:confused3

Ok, thanks!!!! No biggie, I'm not too worried about the view...I am sure we will spend very little time on the balcony. :goodvibes

Candace!!!!!!

I can't keep up with your resort changes LOL!!!!! You & the girls will LOVE AKL, I promise!

I know!!!! I can hardly keep up myself, but I'm feeling really good about this one! :hyper:

.....it's actually kinda nice sitting on the balcony of a pool-view room early in the morning, sipping a cup of coffee....

Tell me more.....:cloud9:

I think I will really LOVE AKL - I'm always oooohing and aaaahing over the pictures! :goodvibes

Are the public viewing areas usually really crowded??? I'm talking about the shaded areas that have the rocking chairs that I've seen?
