That's cool.

I liked the hostess cupcakes better than the Twinkies, but I really don't need to eat either.

Caught you using your dd as dating lure at the day care and now the Dis boards.:lmao: Being married is great at times and challenging other times, but I'm not sure I could do it again. Don't get me wrong, no divorce plan or wish for early demise, but I am amazed at all with exes and remarriage. It must take a lot of patience in those situations, and I don't think I could do it.

I also made another decision yesterday. After spending so much time on the soccer fields last season, i decided to give up all that stuff. I found myself missing out on what was truly important. I'll still coach next season, but no more coordinator stuff or anything else. Time to get back to the important stuff - spending time with th family.

All this old concert stuff I'm selling has been sitting in a scrap book and I have all the memories so its cool to be able to get something for things that were just lying around

Haha, if the dis boards ever gets me a date ill send in my overdue bacon dues , I enjoyed the "married" life and I've enjoyed the single life, maybe soon I'll jump back in the dating pool, I took a break once I got full custody of DD so I could focus on DD and make sure the transition went well

You gotta stop and enjoy while u can

Was cleaning out some DVD's and found this...

Hi Steve! Today is work in the basement day. We are fixing it up for my DD1 and the DGK's to move in.

Is it morning already?

DD5 had "one of those nights" last night.

Started at about 11:30p and lasted all night.

She would sleep for 5 minutes and then wake up in a "frantic" like state. I don't know if it was night terrors or what. She seemed as if she was coherent during the night, but there was no consoling her.

Needless to say, I feel like a zombie today and I have to frickin' work!:sad2:

Hate to hear that. Hope she is ok.

That was a good trilogy. If I could just find a sports almanac and a time machine....

Sounds like you have been busy.

It's Wii U release weekend, I'm going to enjoy tonight and tommarow but I'm looking forward to Sunday morning (target doesn't have a midnight release :( ) anyone else getting one?

We are going with PS3 for the holidays. We have the old Wii, but most of the better games for teenagers are on the PS3. We'll keep the Wii for some of those games we already have, but the kids have not shown any interest in the Wii U.

I changed the tire on MIL's car. That's my exercise for the month.

:lmao::lmao:

Still waiting for the knee to respond so I can start running. Getting exercise by walking every day and being at kids hoop practices. I like your plan better.:thumbsup2

Hey guys. I want to buy a crossbow. Anyone here use one? I was looking at a Barnett Jackal, good price and reviews. Any thoughts? Don't need to kill zombies, just looking for a good entry level one to hunt with.

Paul

Hey Paul:wave2: No crossbow, but we target shoot with compound bows in the back yard. Don't really hunt, but it is good training for when the apocalypse begins.

We had some strange nights with DS when he was round 5/6. He would sleep walk at times and once he sat in the second floor foyer and was "evil" laughing. You know what I mean. He was a asleep with his eyes open, sitting indian style and laughing. When he saw his mom, he would point at her and look scared. She would start laughing. We were told by doctor never to wake him as it can be dangerous somehow. After about an hour and a half he fell back to sleep and then woke up normally about 20 minutes later. Can you say "REDRUM"? It was really creepy.

Anyone play the game Rope n' Fly? It's a free App on iPad. It is a great time killer but fun.

Afternoon gentlemen. Interesting night at work. I had a young coed at my table who was on a run. She won about $200 at my table and she had over $1200 in front of her. A guy asked what she was going to use the money for and she responded "A **** job."

He jumps in posts a bunch and disappears. Usually, his posts consist of 9 words, in three different posts.
Figures.

I'm planning to wait a little bit. The kids are just starting to get into games.

Good for you.

Serious question from Crash to you guys.

She is running 3 times a week with two long runs of 12 miles. She is worried about needing to up the milage on the longer runs. Thoughts?

I'm pretty sure you said she's doing the full. If that's correct, I would probably rather up the milage on one of those runs and cut the milage back on one of them.

Hey CJ. If she can get at least 2 longer runs in before the end of december, it would really help her. If she's running that much she's def in good enough running shape, but it's good to experience a run of 16-18 miles so you know what you're going to feel like during the race. Some people call it "hitting the wall", but it's really just the point where your body is dehydrated and sore beyond a reasonable amount. That happens to people normally around miles 16-18, so if she could even run that far twice, she'll feel much better when she experiences it on race day.

Nice wins by the Irish and the Bruins today :thumbsup2

David continues to be happy. Will it be a Notre Dame vs Oregon Championship game?

If Oregon is going to lose, it would be tonight. K State has a pretty easy go of it from here on out. So, I think thy will miss out unless they get some help. Watching the Senior Day intro was pretty cool!

Got everything done today.
Upwards basketball coaches meeting.
Indoor soccer with youngest dd.
Cut my hair.
Four loads of laundry.

Now, we're all sitting around and watching Tanked. No one else likes football, but I will get my NFL time tomorrow.

Evening all, had a good day sleeping from working last night. Back to work tonight.
I guess while I was sleeping the dog nipped at DW and DS was a pain. Some days I am glad I am a sleep for some of this stuff. DW has the tree up and lights on so my guess is when I get home the house will be decorated for Christmas. First time it has happen before thanksgiving.
