My Package question

It really does have me baffled.

ok- we are booked at Coronda Springs and the only thing we have is the room and a 5 day park pass for each person.

now, i thought the room rate should be the same across the board.
we have rooms for 2, 3 and 4 people.
the extra in the rooms are kids.

so what does the room with 3 people (2 adults and 1 child age 7)
cost 500?

I thought this room should have only been 250 more (for the price of the added ticket.... is this not the case?

do disney rooms charge per person??

That is certainly baffling to me too.

We had four adults and an infant in one room, and myself and a child in a connecting room. When we added the child, the cost of the room only went up by the cost of the ticket.....as you stated you thought. I was still paying double occupancy, like I do on my solo trips.

I cannot figure it out either.

The best thing to do is phone reservations and ask for an explanation of room charge. It is possible someone made a mistake.

I did try calling but i am at work-- and was on hold for 40 minutes when I finally gave up.

I really hope it was a mistake because it really does not make sense.

I tried doing a mock booking and it still gives me the same price with that child costing 500 more. (tickets are only 250.00 for a 5 day child ticket

i can grip being charged the adult price for extra adults.

will that include "disney" adults-- kids that are 11 and 12 too?

(one thing i noticed is tax. boy florida taxes are high--lol

the 5 day ticket is 250 but add taxes at is 266. for a child
2 adults is 536 plus tax is 570.00

No, "Disney adults" do not incur the extra adult fee. They are considered their own category of "junior" which allows them to be charged as adults for tickets and the meal plan, but not charged extra for being in the room.

Are you sure all other variables are the same? Room category (standard, waterview, preferred, etc), trip insurance, ticket options?

If you could post dates of travel, resort, room category, tickets w/ options chosen plus quoted cost of your two rooms, we might be able to help you out a little more.

I agree, cost should be about $260 more. Make sure you are all in the same room category, under the same discount code, have the same tickets (base ticket vs. park hopper, etc.)

2013 corondad springs dec 8 thru 15

2 adults one child age 7

is the room that is more money then the rest

I ran two bookings at CSR. Both were from 12/8 through 12/15. Standard view room. 5 day base tickets, no extra options. I didn't use any discounts.

For 2 adults + a 7 year old, I got $2,244.62.
For 2 adults with no kids, I got $1,977.22.
