A whole pizza and transformers? Sounds like a great evening. :lmao:

We may end up with more days than just that Saturday, but yes, look forward to it.
The whole pizza was Saturday night. DS came home with Transformers today. Some of them I couldn't remember their names.

Back from first night of indoor soccer. The program is coaching skills Monday and game on Saturday. I am not coaching this one. Well, 30 minutes into the lesson and the coach/owner teaches them how to push. He used to play soccer in college, has taught at college level, and his kid plays for club team.

I haven't taught my players how to push at this age because I thought it as too young. But, maybe that is what I need to do, as that was the reason we lost our last game. Of course, my daughter, aggressive as she is, immediately starts pushing kids. The only knock on my dd is that she doesn't have top level speed. She has all the footwork skills and understands playing in space. Some of the other kids who were way faster didn't do so well as she gave them a shove, shoulder, or elbow and slowed them down.

They are what 7 or 8 years old?

Good Morning Gentlemen

Just a little reminder for DVC members to get them AP's for the $399 deal before it expires
in Dec.

The deal still lasts until 12-31-12 right?

Got the mail tonight and it included a letter from the INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE. Never a good thing. Poured a stiff drink and opened the letter. Seems I overpaid by $127.42. Big sigh of relief.

Congrats!!

Oh nemie, you just made me sad. You should know all names. Including the dinobots and insecticons

I keep seeing that a lot of school systems have an October break. I wish we had one here. I would be there every year and that would push us over the edge and into DVC.:thumbsup2 We only have Xmas, Feb and April vacations and those are the busy times. DS is in 7th and we agreed no pulling out once we got to middle school.:sad2:

I so wish for an October break, it's when I really want to go to WDW. Unfortunately, Amelia's grades aren't strong enough to risk pulling her out of school, so August it is...

So... is the move to a new store happening, and if so, how soon? :confused3

I have a few colored LED's that I use, but I wish we had stayed with the old kind for a number of reasons.

First of all, we got the white LED lights to use for our icecicle lights on our front porch awning one year. They looked more like a bright blue and DW absolutely hated them.

The next year I bought some colored LED's to use around the gutters on the house and we put our old normal white icecicle lights on the front porch. The colored LED's look much better than the white ones, but here's my biggest complaint... you pay more for the lights, but they still have those paper thin wires that short out and break relatively easy. Every year I have to replace a few strings because one section shorts out. I'd rather replace the old kind for a couple of dollars per string and deal with the added electric expense for no longer than they're on.:confused3

And I can assure you that's just what I'll do... :thumbsup2

And let's call this a save our Main Street ownage.

Didn't get the promotion, not even close. No transfers on the horizon untill the new year at least. I'm stuck with it for the long haul. Guess gotta grin and bear it.

Dad still uses the old-school big-*** bulb lights for the house...

Are you sure you're not Canadian? I see an extra "u" in "Labor" up there....:furious:

The take over is subtle.

But, night shift gets to have those pallet jack races which were really fun. (also called skids, but lingo is different everywhere)
By night shift, I mean the 2-10:30 shift, we do have an overnight shift starting December, but I'm not going for it. Having enough sleep issues now, and I cannot simply sleep in the daylight, so it'd hurt me more in the long run. Besides, I do enjoy the customer interaction at Christmas.

No way you cold race skids in our warehouse, no room there for much (and we have one of the districts bigger warehouses.) We call 'em skids, head office calls them pallets.

Seems a tad young for teaching the physical stuff. Being a slower player it always amazed me how a little contact could throw off faster players.

Can you do it?

If I had pics of the toys but hey, I think I get props for remembering some of the ancillary transformers designed to reinvigorate the tv show in the late 80s. But you win for actually still having them

Hopefully she will use those gifts to her advantage. For the record, Mia Hamm was labeled as slow for her position.

Been off work the last 10 days, with a combination of holidays and sick days for my back. I'm not ready to go back to work.

Norm, I hope the back gets better :thumbsup2

Must have been from those soft, comfy stadium seats I made you sit in :rotfl2:

Good morning :cool1:

We are going to be eliminating cable to help with the adoption expenses so I wanted to ask Hulu + or Netflix?

Morning David!!

Good luck with the adoption, hope things work out for you!

We have netflix, and I personally am so so with it. Most of the movies are out of date, and they dont carry alot of tv shows. The kids love it, as the stuff they watch are all over it. My 2 cents.

Good score on the BLT. If you PM Randall, he will add it to the front page.

Thanks Norm, I was shocked anything was available at BLT and its the weekend before the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival (we debated on moving back a week to see it) but we might do Epcot this trip so overall it was cheaper to go the week before , I didn't know your back was feeling that bad, I hope you feel better soon

Morning Gents!

First day in the office since last Tuesday, doesn't look any different.

Have a Terrific Tuesday!
