what do you think

I was calculating how much it would cost for my family to eat at the character meals. I calculated it would be just under 2500. Now if I added the DxDP to our reservations it would be 5250. Now my husband won't be joining us til xmas eve after he gets off work. Me and the kids would be checking in on the 21st. I don't want to pay for a DP for DH for the whole trip since he won't be there. So I would probably have to do 2 reservations? One with me and the kids with a one day pass plus DxDP. Then make one for the rest of our stay to include DH. Its all confusing. Or should I just skip the DP and pay OOP? I am getting the TIWC in May for our trip so I can use it for the xmas one too. Do you think that we would stay with in the 5200 mark with 6 more table service places after the character meals? I want to get my moneys worth but not over spend.

Yes, you'd have to do 2 separate reservations. You'd also have to put at least 1 day of tickets onto the 2nd reservation to qualify for the dining plan.

I would take a look at the menus on allears.net and get a good grasp of how much you think you'd be paying OOP using the TIW versus the DP.

It sounds like you will be better off using the TIW and just making one extended reservation.
