We are one month away and got a new planner as of yesterday!!

Our previous planner got a new position so we are now assigned to Amy Riendeau. I'm actually looking forward to it! I've heard great things about her already!

A few little updates...

I was able to get in touch with our photographer (Randy) and florist (Jonathan) today to touch base on timelines and such. The only thing I need to iron out is getting my floral to Boardwalk so they are there for getting ready pictures with Randy.

Randy is all set with everything...definitely put me a bit at ease about wedding day.

Stressing a bit because I've messaged our singer about getting her music to me by today...still no response. I sent a new message just a moment ago.

Got a message back within a minute...she just forgot to respond last week and is looking it up now.

All the tux rentals except for Thomas' uncle (best man) have been paid...the due date for that is....TODAY. So I'm really hoping Thomas remembered to remind him again.

Thomas is actually out to sea this week...his last underway before he gets shore duty...no more deployments!!!

I got the groomsmen's gifts ordered as well...all of them coming from Thomas' favorite website... www.thinkgeek.com I think all the guys will really like what he chose for them!

I still need to fill out the worksheet for the DJ...I'm just not sure what to put on my top 10 songs to play / do not play.

Hey Lindsay! I finally got done reading your whole PJ! I Love Love Love everything!!! So SO Cute! The picture of you and Thomas when he dips you after he returns back from deployment, ADORABLE! Iam so glad you got in the newspaper! Its like one of those old time photos Great Picture! I love the mickey ears for your bridesmaids and top hats for them men! That will be a really cute photo! Are you still going to do the fall leaves! I think that is apretty brilliant idea. Its getting so close!!!!!!! Unbelievable how fast time goes!

If I can give you any advice for your big day, it's don't worry about it.....Disney will blow you away. I am still having trouble believing that we got married there. Thank you! The dipping picture is my favorite I have of us. We couldn't figure out how to do the fall leaves down the aisle at a decent cost...so instead we're having flowers tied to every other pew and frames on the other pews. It's still hard for me to believe we're getting married there too!! I can't believe we're in the single digits!!

It's hard to believe in 9 days we will be married!!

It has been a pretty busy month for us. At the end of October, we went to DC to do some house hunting...signed a lease on the townhouse I've been admiring online for months now! I was getting nervous leading up to our visit because when I contacted the owner, there was a pending application on the home. The person needed more time to decide though and we were ready to sign immediately!

We then traveled to the other side of VA to visit Thomas' family and attend his 10-year high school reunion. After church, they had a gift card shower for us, which was nice.


Thomas' last day on the ship was today...so now he'll be stuck at home getting everything organized and ready to pack! His bachelor party is this Sunday...so I'll have a friend come hang out so I'm not bored all evening.

Tuesday he will head down to Disney and the craziness begins!!
My bachelorette party is Thursday...Friday, rehearsal...Saturday, wedding!!

The only hiccup we might have is that the ship goes on a mini-underway this week...taking with it one of Thomas' groomsman and many of his friends. They are SUPPOSED to be back Friday morning...but may get delayed until Sunday. Not really sure about a back-up plan for that at this point...but, we don't necessary need one.
