Hello Starbucks.
Not sure how I feel about this yet.

They're not replacing Main Street Bakery. Assuming it's like Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe in DCA (and I have no reason to believe it won't be), they'll simply be selling Starbucks Products in the Main Street Bakery with only subtle Starbucks signing.
Must admit I was mad at first but seeing the pix from DCA helped me thru it. I have faith it will be done tastefully and confident most bakery goods will survive. I think the problem is SB is not a turn of the century business where as Coke Carnation and others are old time names that fit better in the "Main Street" era.

I do mind Disney Corporate messing with MSB.
Disney be smart with this, life is not all about $$$.
The bakery IS Main Street!
Can you not get ice cream cookie sandwiches anywhere else in MK? I thought you could. or at least I hope so, even if I can't have the ice cream part!
I don't have a problem with corporate sponsorship in the parks, but Main Street should be a little more special. I would hate to see everything changed to appeal to hipsters and Tweens.
I am with you!
Are you sure. this story said the main street bakery will close for refurbishment and reopen as a Starbucks. That says to me that it will be more like my corner starbucks than Main street bakery.
I'm just a gal that likes unique items a places. I've only been in starbucks on the East coast and the one in jersey is exactly like the one in Philly.
I'm thinking that they may not have chosen the best wording. If you look at the pictures in the link in my previous post, the place in DCA that sells Starbucks looks nothing like your corner Starbucks.
I would hardly say Starbucks is for the 'hipster' or 'tween' ... its been going for 40yrs.
But it looks nothing like MSB either.
