August 31st 2013 - 7 night Mediterranean cruise aboard the Disney Magic

I've done the spreadsheet- if you pm me, I'll forward you the link to it so we can begin getting organised :thumbsup2

I've allowed anyone (with the link) to edit- so people can update their details as time goes on incase people don't know their stateroom numbers yet, or any room changes or such.

:)

Brilliant!
Thank you!!!
60 days before the cruise is a legitimate cutoff, unless there is some unforeseen circumstance that we agree to.
I'll need to get it up on our FB page as well.
I'm assuming that we'll have a 20 or so stateroom limit per FB group.
What thinkest thou?

Hello cruisers! I am thankful that we have MissMorningStar to handle the spreadsheet for us. :cheer2: I guess a cut-off number is ok per FE group, unless, I guess, if there are less than 40:confused3 We don't seem to have that many dissers:grouphug: on board so far, but on the other hand, I don't know how many are likely to 'show up' later, never having been on a Med cruise before. How many were there on your previous Med cruise?

Now that we have lost Mel (Have a fabulous time in Florida!pixiedust: only slightly jealous we need someone else to handle a mixology :stir:reservation. I will work on that:p

I may or may not be leaving this thread - am trying to "jump ship" to the transatlantic cruise, but having a nightmare getting flights booked. Still booked on this one whilst I try and get it sorted, the rate I'm going I won't be cruising anywhere as all the flights will have gone! :rotfl:

Transatlantic will be awesome! I am so going to do one one day when work restraints don't hold me back! I am sending pixie dust that you get such an awesome rate on flights that you can do both!pixiedust: You can always train to Barcelona or back....

No prob :-)
Is everyone on FB on DIS? I haven't put the link to the spreadsheet on here as it's an open forum; however I guess FB is a closed group so no-one outside the group would be able to see the link?
Yeh if we have enough for 2 groups of FE then great. On my last cruise there were only 16 staterooms taking part so we were just one group.

Transatlantic would be great!! Wish you all the best :)

As I said, I don't mind helping to organise the FE :)

Please PM me your:
username
stateroom number
# of adults
# of children/age/gender

I'll start a spreadsheet and then share it on Goode Docs so people can view as their planning their FE's.

Should we do a cutoff date to join the FE -so people can get their things done without worrying about adding more? We could say 60 days before? What do people think?

I've updated the front page as you being FE organiser :cheer2: Good organising cruisers :grouphug:

Morning everyone:thumbsup2

Just wanted to thank Amanda for organising the fish extender:thumbsup2 I am still undecided whether we will be participating - we are also on the cruise beforehand and not sure I can face carrying FE gifts for 2 cruises:lmao:

However Lucas (my youngest) mentioned it last week, as he seems to think the FE is an automatic feature of the cruise!! So I might have to do it whether I want to or not;). Will let you know really soon though:thumbsup2

It is hard, but I understand your dilemma. Maybe take what you would do for one cruise (or maybe a little more) and split it between the cruises.

That sounds like a good idea :thumbsup2. I am Not very imaginative, but was quite pleased with the fish extender gifts I came up with last year in the med, so I am kind of hoping that if there is no one on board that was with me last year then I might do the same thing this year ;)- in which case that will at least be less stressful for me - if not less to carry in my luggage!! :thumbsup2

No problem :thumbsup2: Damian's idea is a good idea- that way you can take part in both. I'm with Lucas- it's just part of the cruise!! :D

Thanks Damien for the Fish Extender link, I've added it to the front page :woohoo:

I have always wandered - Amy- with the back to back do they make you get off the boat half way through when the others are disembarking or do you get to stay on??

Most of the times, yes.

From what i've read on the DIsboards, the Barcelona cruises have been quite lucky and you haven't had to get off of the boat - they post instructions the night before to your stateroom, but I know that last year it was only a case of going to guest services to get a new room key etc. Very excited about that day - hoping for a really relaxing one!:thumbsup2
