Pet stocking exchange?

Ok..I'll leave it out here for a week to see if anyone is interested. Belle will be getting a stocking from me at least! It is a busy time, but I figure we could be mailing the first week in December.

They do sell ready made pet stockings and they do sell stockings in the dollar store, for instance. You would find out if you're buying for a dog or cat, or ?, and go shopping for either already packaged or pack your own. I haven't looked, but I think a $10 exchange, not counting postage would be possible, but it may be we have to spend $15.

If there's enough interest, I would take sign ups, say to the 27th of November. Names would go out on the 28th. You would get one name to sent something to. The pet you send to would not necessarily be the pet sending to you.

You would have until say, December 8 to mail your package.

Since you might be interested, do you have a monetary amount in mind? $10 or $15?

I have Belle a senior Black Lab that we rescued last year. She is quite sedentary but we go on short walks, and she likes squeak plush toys that she carries around the house.

I might be interested, I'm sure my Sandy (soft coated wheaten terrier) would love receiving a stocking full of goodies.

I'm not sure what I would send a mini pig, I would need some suggestions.

Sandy, is 1 1/2 years old, so she still has alot of puppy energy. Loves digging in the yard, walks, etc. She just had surgery 7 weeks ago on her knee, she injuried it running after a bunny. It's been so hard keeping her quiet so the knee will heal, she's still walking on 3 legs with using her 4th every now and then. I guess it will take time for her to heal completely.

My mini pig is named ducky. He is roughly the size of a chihuahua and weighs roughly 12lbs --- he is black and white with blue eyes. He loves soft squeaky dog toys and peanut butter dog treats. He also loves soft blankets to lay in especially when its cold. He is very active one minute then wants to snuggle the next. So really just think of him as a small dog.

I think $15 plus postage is a good number. I am looking forward to this.
