City, Sand, and Savanna - Link to new trip report

I'll get to other quotes later, but wanted to address this.

No, I'm talking about the open space up above the cole slaw. Hard to make out if it's a Judy or not, but heck, everybody guessed 3 or 4 so you're right either way!

i only read 3 seperate from 4s but if you are being generous this round ill make an official guess

im going with 3 or 4 judys you pick.

:thumbsup2

Wouldn't be a vacation without some family drama. :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

Vacations seem to bring it out don’t they? Gee, they could make a movie and just call it “Vacation”.

and

:teeth:

I'm glad you got to see a turtle. I'm sure that was a really interesting experience, and definitely something your family won't forget. :thumbsup2

It was the highlight of our Vero stay, that’s for sure. :goodvibes

mmm BBQ thanks for making me want to get my smoker out and fire up a prime rib.:thumbsup2

:smokin:

food and company looked good.

A good time, and good meal.

way to go on the turtle sighting...

We were psyched!

but i have to admit i have not seen what you have,(laying eggs) but swimming with them in hawaii should be next onyour list.:thumbsup2

too bad you didnt make that trip last year.

Ooo, that’d be good! Yeah, that was a shame. But it’s still on our list.

Hitting the road now...........see you in about 10 hours!!!

How was it?

Cool, from now on all I have to do is guess 1...no 2.....no 3....no 4......no 5......no 6...... and it will automatically be right!!!! :woohoo:

Wow, I love when the Rules Committee gives us such leeway with our answers......... :goodvibes

That’s been Rosie’s strategy all along!

you will not be dissapointed.:thumbsup2

That’s confidence.

Hope that's not the Bud Light Lime talking........... :scared1:

:drinking1 :crazy2:

no, thats the dead cow on the smoker.

my smoked prime rib is amazing, will text you a picture next time i cook it.

A picture would be good, but a taste would be even better.

You mean I'm driving for nothing??? Thought I wasn't going to be disappointed when I get there............ :confused3 :headache:

He talks a good game, huh?

you wont...

:thumbsup2

Well you know, time is a factor, and you generally have to get your guess in before the scores are posted. :faint:

Wow, you guys are making it tough on the Rules Committee. We believe the correct answer is 4, three obvious ones and one where can kind of see Judy's pink top in between some items on the table. Rosie first answered 4, then changed it. Mary Ellen guessed 4, but joked about the 4th Judy being a reflection in the beans. Pat guessed 4, then changed it. Then Marv guessed 4, with correct picture sightings. And finally, Rosie comes back to original 4. :faint:

So, the Rules Committee has granted each of you 1 point. Don't spend them all in one place!

:cheer2:

Updated scores:

Jenn (elphie101) - 1 Judy-sighting win, First Subscriber Honors!
Tanya - 1 Judy-sighting win
Pat - 5 Judy-sighting wins
Rosie - 3 Judy-sighting wins
Marvin - 8 Judy-sighting wins, 3 Eagle Eye points :magnify:
Kelly - 1 Judy-sighting win
Mark - 3 Judy-sighting wins
Molly - 1 Judy-sighting win
Dan - 1 Eagle Eye point :magnify:
Kathy - 1 Judy-sighting win
Dee - 3 Judy-sighting wins
Magdalene - 2 Judy-sighting wins
Katharina - 2 Judy-sighting wins
Mary Ellen - 1 Judy-sighting win

I like the rules committee today!!!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

LOL at the animatronic turtle!! We went to AK after it JUST opened, and went on the Safari ride - and there were hardly any animals there. Someone on our safari commented on this, and INSTANTLY an animal popped out. We've all joked about the animatronic animals there since then!

So cool that you got to see a turtle that night!!! It sounds like an awesome experience!

Back from the world and caught back up. Loved your detailed updates as always. Hold onto those beach shots of the girls as they might come in handy someday. Congrats on the turtle sighting. Too cool!

Looking forward to more to get my Disney fix as we currently have no trips scheduled:worried:

Yes, but after the latest ruling by the Rules Committee, it is now a legitimate and authorized method for getting the answer correct......as long as you say the right answer per the Rules Committee in your "any number of different answers" then you get a point! :confused3 :sad2:

So happy you all got to see turtles. I would love to go just to do this.

Dinner looked good too.

It looks amazing, I am seriously considering adding some time here to our next trip.

Quick question, our next trip will be with our baby girl, who will be approx 18 months. Would you say that there are adequate facilities and entertainment etc for us or would you wait till she was older perhaps??

We looked at the menu and it was so hard to choose. Marlene asked, “what’s the difference between ‘brisket’ and ‘pulled pork’?” I said, “‘Moo’ and ‘oink’”.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: Hilarious! Best explanation ever!

That is so awesome you saw the turtle!! Sounds like such a great night!

Probably waiting until our backs are all turned so he can post another update. :surfweb:

You should like them every day...they're a great bunch of folks! :thumbsup2

:rotfl: That's a great story! Yes, after Jungle Cruise and even the Hall of Presidents, it might be a little hard for Disney to not be suspected of including an animatronic being here or there.

We were very happy about it!

Ooo, you're a little devilish. Which means, great idea.

Ours are just "plans", and years out. :sad1:

I'll take this as your way of recognizing how fair and equitable and consistent the Rules Committee has been. Thank you! ;)

Hi Scott! It is worth the trip just to see this, if it all works out and you get to see a nesting. If not, it can be a little disappointing.

Dinner looked good too.

It was good, as long as you're a carnivore. Vegetarians might want to keep looking for other options.

It looks amazing, I am seriously considering adding some time here to our next trip.

Hi Mel. Hmmm, that's a tough one. I'd probably say that it might not be the best place for a baby that age. The biggest attractions are the beach and the pool, and I remember that we didn't always have the most fun at the beach with a baby that age -- Judy was always worried about them putting sand in their mouths or things like that. As far as the resort activities, there were a lot of things for young kids, but probably for a little bit older than 18 months. It probably wouldn't hurt to contact the resort, or you could post a question on the Vero Beach thread (under the DVC section of the DIS) to see if anyone with babies nearer that age has any advice/recommendations for you....since my kids are older I am probably not a lot of help.

Hold on there, I believe that this is your first post here Sally, so :welcome: It's great to have you aboard!

:rotfl2::rotfl2: Hilarious! Best explanation ever!

Pretty succinct, right?

That is so awesome you saw the turtle!! Sounds like such a great night!

It was a great night! It was great to see the kids so excited and happy. I don't think any of us will forget it any time too soon.

Hey I ressemble that remark !!:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Where's Waldo ... Oh I mean Glenn !!!!!:rotfl2:

I got on earlier this evening, but got called away to look at something and then James commandeered the computer. :headache: I suppose I could've kicked him off, but I wasn't going to do anything too critical either.

Probably waiting until our backs are all turned so he can post another update. :surfweb:

I wish. I have to confess that I still haven't even started the next chapter, and I have a busy week, so it'll be interesting to see when I can get to it.
