We added another night to our Thanksgiving trip. I don't know if I told you that trip was back ON again or not. We cancelled it because I thought I would still be in a cast, but my cast came off on Halloween so DH said book that trip again !! So, we are staying at SSR Nov. 21-25. Our dining plans are:

Nov. 22

Breakfast - Kona
Dinner - Garden Grill

Nov. 23

Lunch - Yak and Yeti CS
Dinner - Grand Floridian Cafe

Nov. 24

I did have your trip on the November list but had it starting on Nov. 22, so I'll add the extra day. And I didn't know that you had gotten your cast off early. That's great news, Susan!

You can do and send live updates a couple of different ways. You can take pics with your phone and text them to me along with a short description and maybe a comment about how well you liked it. You can also email the pics to me from your phone. Another option is to take pictures with your regular camera and then email them to me later when you have some downtime back at your resort. Any of these methods are fine with me. Oh, and I leave the content and frequency of the updates entirely up to the reporters. Although this month with the Scavenger Hunt going on, if you want to participate and earn points then you should keep an eye on the list (link in my signature), which I will update daily. I also plan to add some more potential points once the F & W Festival is over. So what do you think...are you interested?

Thank you to the people who volunteered to be reporters today! I will be sending a PM tomorrow with my info to those of you who are leaving for WDW in November. We now could use one or two more reporters for these dates: Nov. 13 - 26 and Dec. 18 - 26.
Also from Dec. 27 on and throughout the month of January we need several more volunteers.

DH and I will have the Deluxe Dining Plan, so we will be eating plenty! Halfway through our trip, his family will be meeting us there. We also have Be Our Guest reservations for 10 people on November 20th.

I am soooooo happy to have my cast off. My comfort level is 110% better !! I still can't walk much, but I will be working hard in physical therapy to get as close to normal as I can by Christmas. I will be renting a scooter for the Thanksgiving trip.

Note from jabead: While this cocktail does look delicious, it unfortunately does not qualify for a Scavenger Hunt point because it is one we have seen here before. In case you don't recall, this was one of the several different cocktails that Alice BlueBonnet tried at the Victoria Falls Lounge.

Ellen said, "We were handed this with our menus, and I thought..ooooh Nicki (aka MickeyNicki) is gonna be soooo jelly!"

Pumpkin Pancakes served with pecan maple butter and sausage

Macadamia Pineapple Pancakes with macadamia nut butter, pineapple sauce and fruit (on the side) subbed for the breakfast meat


Ellen said, "Pods (her DH) and I split the pumpkin and macnut pancakes...both so good! But aren't the pancakes lookin a little smaller here? I didn't mind the smaller portion though, it was the right size. I don't feel like exploding as I'm walking out of here and that's a good thing!"
