OK we plan to leave NJ tomorrow Friday 11/2 heading down with the camper. I was taking 301 around the Baltimore tunnels due to tanks but it still looks closed. Is 695 the other loop avoiding tunnels. We don't know what roads to take.

Yes,695 west. outerloop.
Haven't heard anything about 695 east innerloop. Play it safe 695 west to 95 south.
Be safe and when you can, let us know how you made out.:thumbsup2

Delaware dot and Maryland dot. route 301 both directions open. Other roads near by or connect could be closed due to flooding and washed away.
Play it safe. Remember, others may be thinking the same thing. :moped:

I live in DE, we always take 301 down to 50 and across the Bay Bridge. Traffic on 95 around DC is a nightmare no matter when you travel. If you don't mind a slower pace, and some traffic lights, stay on 301 to 207 in Bowling Green and take that to 95, brings you out a bit above Richmond.

Have a great trip!

301 to 50 at Bowie go south on 301 south across the Potomac River Bridge to 207 to 95 south. Roads are clear Flying J at the 95 exit south.

Well we got here safely on Saturday afternoon!!! Took 301 and it was not bad. Traffic here and there. Would have been 15hrs but with kids & 2 pups we stop frequently. It's absolutely perfect camping weather and I love this place!!!! Thanks everyone!!
