Help,
My DD applied for the Spring 2013 Program about a month ago and we haven't heard anything. :confused3
Did we apply wrong?
Should we have already heard something?
Is there somewhere we can go to make sure we did our application right?
Thanks for the help!

By not hearing anything what do you mean?

Did she do the web based interview? If you pass that then you have a phone interview that you set up. After that you should hear something in 2-3 weeks whether you are accepted, rejected or pended

Nothing... No email, No phone call, nothing...

So maybe we did something wrong. I know it's been over 3 weeks and we haven't heard anything not even a rejected...

So what do we do??? Where do we go to see if we did fill out the web based interview?

I'm confused. My son is in a similar situation. I thought after the web based interview that Disney contacts YOU to set up the phone interview. No where did it say (or give a number to call) for him to call Disney to set anything up. Are you sure about this??

My son was under the impression that the web based interview was basically that VERY lengthy on line application. After he did that, on his dashboard he received different status' (i.e. application completed) until it changed to "interview stage". He's been at this stage for about 7 or 8 weeks now. Waiting to hear from Disney about a phone interview. No where did he get the impression that HE had to call Disney.

I just realized that maybe your child applied for the regular college program. My son applied for the Professional Internship. Maybe the process is different.

If you're talking about the DCP, he sets up the phone interview himself. He should have gotten an email if he passed the web-based interview to schedule a phone interview from a list of available dates. Have him check his dashboard to see what it says.

I'm not sure, but I think it may be too late. Applications closed a couple of days ago, but since his was in the process of being completed, he may still be able to schedule an interview. I would check ASAP just in case.

For the professional internships, they will call you if they want to interview. Is he alumni? I know those are still in process. What PI did he apply for?

There are 2 facebook groups that he might want to join to ask more specific questions. They are a very supportive group. Just have him look for Disney Professional Internships Spring 2013. There are 2 groups, which are pretty much a duplicate of each other.

I didnt mean you have to call Disney, just that after the web based interview (which is the one with the questions asking if you agree, disagree with statements) if you pass that it tells you and gives a link to set up the phone interview

Thank you for your response. No, he is not an alumni. He is applying for the engineering PI (actually 5 individual internships - he is applying for all 5). He is also a member of one of those FB groups also. He has found it very supportive and learned that engineering is one of the last PIs who interviews. He's hoping if he is not yet NLIC, he still has a chance. It's just getting very late in the game though! He's all registered for next semester in college (he's a junior), so if this doesn't pan out, it's ok. Just disappointing with how the whole thing is handled. Hopefully he'll at least get a chance at a phone interview.

OH NO!!!!!!
We missed up!!!

We never checked the dashboard... Or her DASHBOARD!!!! We had no idea that we should have done that.... :scared1:

We didn't even think to check "THE DASHBOARD" or even know that that's where we should have looked... WE thought we would get an email on her personal email account or a phone call on her cell phone...

BUT NO!!!!

And yes we we're accepted to take the on-line Web Base Interview... BUT...
With-in the 5 days after receiving this email. That was Sept. 27th. 39 days ago :sad1::sad1::sad1:

She's missed out!!!!

Is there a chance for her to do anything???

Will she be able to apply for next fall or did we just blow everything???????

HELP

I'm so upset... I'm crying!!!!

That is weird because I am pretty sure you receive an email after each step...not sure what you can do at this point. You could call but they might tell you its too late now

It happens! Deep breaths! 1. Call Disney. It can't hurt. Make sure she calls though and takes responsibility for it. 2. If there is nothing that they can do then have her apply again, since she never took the WBI she shouldn't have to wait six months, but even if she does it would late January- when apps come out anyways! Good luck!

Did you click the link anyway to see if it would allow her through to the interview? Since the CP dates have just closed she could still try to get the WBI to work.

He applied mid-September, and his deadline was about the 17th of October, and has been interview stage ever since. If its true that most have been offered, then just say on dashboard "NLIC". Dont give him false hopes that he still has a shot. They never even gave him a phone interview! I suggested that he call someone about it, but he doesn't want to look like he's "whining"!
